L'albergo è in una buona posizione. Considerato lo standard delle città storiche, è un buon albergo. Molta gentilezza, disponibilità e pulizia delle camere. Il personale è giovane ed attento.

We had a nice stay at the Kette. Staff was helpful and attentive. We had a corner room overlooking a canal and it was quiet. King bed was comfy, and the shower had a nice spray to it. The WiFi was spotty in our room, but sitting in the bar with my iPad worked out just fine too! Breakfast was included with the room, which is always appreciated, and there […] was a variety of foods, although I wish there was a better selection of fresh fruit - berries would have been nice. The hotel was easy to find from the train station, and a quick 5 minutes or so walk o San Marco square. We would stay here again, and have recommended to friends. Continua a leggere

Quiet but central location, very helpful staff

very convenient with airport boats and other excursion opportunities, just a few minutes away from st. marks plaza. the staff is very friendly. I found the need to pay a extra city tax in cash on the day of departure an inconvenience,( why do you have to pay cash rather than use VISA to pay this tax).

VEry central hotel, but can be hard to find so ask around. The cleanest hotel we stayed at during our whole european vacation. Staff was very helpful. breakfast was reasonable. rooms are small, showers were clean.

Not bad, only stay there if you get the upgraded room. Our bathroom had ants in it, and you have to hand your 1 kg key and keyring back in every time you step out. Hotel receptionist sold us a wifi card for 5 euros cash the first night no probs, but on the second night I bought. One they refused to take the money in cash and insisted to add the charge […] to my bill.! Then called me a liar. Customer is not always right apparently. Continua a leggere

4 stars???!!! This place was barely 3 stars. Run down room, with a lumpy mattress and pillows, and a FILTHY blanket. Our request for a room change was denied, and we were told that this was the only room available. Breakfast was about as basic as they could provide, and of all the 5 hotels we stayed in during our trip to Italy, they were the only one […] who charged extra for espresso drinks at breakfast (3 euros). But the worst part of our stay was the indifferent service from the front desk staff. The guy who checked us out did not say a word as he handed us the final bill, no 'thank you for staying with us" or even "do you need any help with you bags", like most decent hotels would do. The same guy was also usually at the front desk in the evenings, and would arrogantly hand us our room key when we returned to the hotel without a word, like he was doing us a big favor. Only plus was the location, which was very close to the Piazza San Marco, and also the vaporetto (water bus) stop. Continua a leggere

This hotel was clean and in a superb location. We were able to walk everywhere, and just a short stroll to Piazza San Marco. Our room was upgraded to a deluxe room so am not sure what our room would've been like otherwise. Wasn't sure why we needed to hand the key into the front desk everytime we left the place though. The best thing was that we could hear the gondola men serenading their guests from our hotel room at night! Was just magical! All in all, a nice place to stay to enjoy this amazingly beautiful city! our window was on a canal where the gondolas floated by, very close to everything, FREE breakfast buffet

Although a good 10 minute walk from main water bus stop, once you are there, everything else is perfect. Not too hard to find if you have a Google map or ask directions. Pulling suitcases through Venice's cobbled streets is a chore but everyone does it. Very near great shopping, restaurants, canal, St. Mark's square. Water taxi does come right to the […] door when you want to use that service. Breakfast was excellent - cold food, meat, cheese, beads, eggs, juices and coffees. Bed was pretty hard but kind of normal for Europe. Upgraded to canal view which was really nice - no balcony just a window - so you have to hang out the window to make use of it. This Hotel was pretty good, and was close to Vino Vino, a great restaurant. It was also, however, a good walk from the water (and thus the vaporetto). What this meant was that my fellow travelers and I had to roll our bags through the crowded, narrow streets, and carry them over a few stairs. I was not terribly inconvenienced by this, but two of the […] older travelers had a pretty tough time. If you have packed light, do it. Venice is expensive and this hotel is reasonable for the price of the city. It's decorated like an old boat. If you're willing to spend the money on a water taxi, it's a great location. Otherwise, you'll have to take a water bus and walk 20 minutes through stairs and crowds with bags to reach the hotel. We used the hotel computer (paid for the internet) […] and one of the members of the staff kept checking in on us. The air conditioning was reliable. Also, it had the best breakfast. Nice hotel, good location, reasonably sized rooms, friendly and helpful staff.

the location of the Kette was a good area, the dock at the back of the hotel was a plus as we didn't need to drag our luggage through the streets. The staff was not as pleasant as our previous hotel in Rome. The breakfast was decent, with a good selection, but the coffee was horrible, and I love great Italian coffee. They spoke good english too!!! Perfect place to stay!!! You will love it!!! I got the cutest pictures just from the hotel!! We went on a cruise out of Venice. It was very easy to get from the water bus to the shuttle. Great location. It's around everything. Prime spot for people to see Dodge's Palace !

We arrived at the Kette Hotel on a hot, crowded Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised with the location--literally a few steps from St. Marks and the center of town. LOVED the hotel, the staff, and the location.

Very satisfactory in all respects. Close to St. Marks Square and much of the best shopping. Water taxi delivery direct to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. Staff very professional and accommodating.

Rent och fräscht hotell, bra service och fint rum nära till sevärdheter.

Elendig service om morgen hvis afgang fra hotel før "officiel morgenmad tid" . Selv om jeg anmodede om det dagen i forvejen, kunne jeg end ikke få en kop kaffe kl 0715 om morgenen, da officiel morgenmadservceing først startede kl0730. Det er helt uacceptabelt. Es un hotel muy comodo para moverse en Venecia,con lo necesario para tu estancia y una excelente atención.

Ich kann das Hotel Kette bestens empfehlen! Es ist sehr günstig in der Nähe des Markusplatz gelegen und von verschiedenen Vaporetto-Haltestellen bequem zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer luxoriös eingerichtet. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und hilfsbereit. Rundum ein sehr schönes Hotel. Supert hotell midt i sentrum av Venezia. Men ikke de mest hjelpsomme i resepsjonen Ellers, veldig fornøyd med stort rom og god frokost.

Très bon hotel, magnifiquement bien situé...5 min a pied de San Marco...10 min à pied du Rialto. Personnel très sympa, très pro et très discret. Pt déjeuner continental tout à fait acceptable....j ai particulièrement aimé le fait de se faire servir le café dans de l'argent massif.

Situation idéale, calme et centrale. Très bon accueil et personnel très attentif. Troisième séjour et sans doute pas le dernier!

Bon Hotel, tres bien situé à 5 min de la place St Marc. Tarifs un peu élevés pour ce type d'hotel mais qui s'explique par l'emplacement géographique dans Venise ! Petit dej correct mais sans plus, wifi payant (tres dommage)

Fint hotell, men ikke særlig behjelpelig personell. Dårlig spisesal og frokost. Stort og fint rom. Dårlig seng som hadde grop i midten. Sentral beliggenhet.

Gepflegtes, modernes Hotel in guter, zentraler Lage ca. 5 min von der Vaporetto-Anlegestation S.Marco Vallaresso - als Ausgangspunkt für einen Venedigaufenthalt zum Sightseeing, bummeln etc. fanden wir das Hotel ideal: Nahe des Marcusplatzes u. 5 min von Vaporettostation aber doch in ruhiger Seitengasse (im exklusiven Shoppingviertel) gelegen. Der Standard […] ist für ital. Hotels wirklich gut, unser Standardzimmer war zwar klein u. verwinkelt aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet (mit komfortablem Bett) u. sauber, das Angebot beim Frückstücksbuffet ebenfalls über dem ital. Durchschnitt gelegen. Vom Flughafen kann man mit dem Bus nach Piazzale Roma fahren u. von dort mit der Vaporettolinie 1 oder 2 zur Station S. Marco Vallaresso - von dort sind es ca. 5 min zum Hotel - Beschreibung des Gehweges von der Hotelwebseite ausdrucken, da das Hotel versteckt über eine kleine Seitengasse erreichbar ist u. v.a. abends die Orientierung in Venedig schwer ist. Lediglich die Hotelbar fanden wir nicht besonders einladend, war am späteren Abend zudem nicht besetzt. Continua a leggere
