I'm not sure why hotels are leaving coffee makers out of the rooms. It would be different, if they had a place you could go down and get a coffee and sweet roll. I do not like to pay 6 or 7 dollars for a cup of room service coffee.

Just spent 1 night, but wished for more. It was a real treat. Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed, very nice and helpful staff. There is an awesome view of the river from the elevator! I envy the ducks! They live in luxury! Great place.

"Upscale elegance"
We stayed Christmas night with a last minute special rate. Everything was luxurious and wonderful. We were not able to stay the next day to see the famous ducks but breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed a really good Mexican dinner (including complementary sopiapillas) at a nearby restaurant whose name I've forgotten but it was on a corner very well-lit […] (outside floodlights etc) -- we passed it on the way to The Peabody and backtracked just a bit and were glad we did. "The Peabody - an experience I hoped would be grand"
While the hotel is very nice and is a great tourist thing to do. I was disappointed by two things. First I was checked into a dirty room, while it can happen, there wasn't a massive group or crowd to warrant the front desk to not know what was the status of there rooms. Second, I stopped here just to be a half way point on my journey and to be rested. […] Being woken up at 10am by Jack hammers and loud banging was just not what I wanted to start my morning off like. My family has stayed at the Peabody on little rock for years and the hotel along with the staff have been superior. This year was no different. What will keep us away in the future is that homeless people were all over and in the 24 hours we were there we were approached twice. Once when we first arrived we were approache by a homeless man and later […] that night when I was across the street I was approached for money from a homeless man. I never saw a policeman or security anywhere. This is not a safe place for my family. THE RIVERFRONT VIEW MADE THE STAY!!!! THE ROOM COULD USE AN EXTRA COMFORT CHAIR. THE DRINKS AND BAR FOOD WAS GREAT. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE RESTUARUANT PRICES THEY WERE OUTRAGES ESPECIALLY FOR DINNER. THE VALET PARKING ALTHOUGH EXPENSIVE WAS GOOD. "Peabody stay"
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Peabody Hotel. The negative aspects included the noise of the band in the lobby area Friday night, the ridiculous room service charges (not food charges, but the 4% gratuity, 20% delivery charge, etc. that they tack on to the bill), the lack of economic meal options inside the hotel, no coffee pot in the room, the only […] parking option is valet and it's high per night. HAving said that, the service was impeccable, I had an erroneous charge on my bill and they promptly and politely corrected it. They valets are super nice and helpful, the restaurant staff are very accommodating. The view from my room was magnificent. Their conference facilities are also very nice. I was there for business, and so I was able to expense most of my stay. Except, due to the high cost of the meals (and there is only one option there), I either had to go over my company's meal allowance and eat the charges myself, skip a meal, or try to eat elsewhere, which meant a short walk down the street. I was very impressed with the Peabody. The staff was beyond friendly, the band playing in the lounge was impressive and the room perfect. Thank you for a great stay!
"Acceptable overall, parking is a nightmare"
The hotel is very conveniently located. The rate for the evening was competitive. The staff was very friendly and eager to serve. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the room lacked certain amenities that are standard in most hotels, for example, a coffee pot in the room. If you aren't a coffee drinker, obviously this is not a big deal. […] If you are find a Starbucks. There are no complementary coffee locations in the hotel and the coffee they sell in the gift shop is crap. Additionally, the channel selection wasn't great and the TVs are old but the other accommodations were fine and the wireless Internet is free. The absolute worst part of staying at The Peabody is the lack of free or even accesible parking. Unless you choose to find a place to park your car on the street, which will require a considerable walk, you have to pay $25 a night for valet. I had to wait one and a half hours in the lobby after I had checked out, waiting for my car to be brought out front. To me, that wait was excessive and in a way ruined the Peabody for me. "Elevators with River Views"
Free shuttle from the airport. Requires a reservation, but it is difficult to obtain a reservation. Live jazz in the lobby on Friday night. Walking distance from all the sights. Duck parade the cutest thing on webbed feet and definitely a kid magnet. Restaurant prices exceed restaurant quality.

"Little Rock Peabody Rocks!"
The Peabody. Enough said. But for those who don't know the Peabody Hotels, let me say a few words more. From the moment you walk through the plate glass doors and the desk person greets you with real Southern courtesy, you know you will have a happy and restful stay. The ducks are reminiscent of the original Peabody in Memphis (a whole other experience […] in Southern comfort). The subdued, slightly modernized elegance of the lobby and the clubby atmosphere of the hotel restaurant all lend an atmosphere of tranquility and peace at the end of a long trip or hectic day of business. The location at the heart of Little Rock is convenient, with access to interesting sites within walking distance. Valet parking is available. Nice views of the capitol district and the Arkansas River. The only detractions were (1) sounds from the elevators audible in the bath of this room and (2) a cracked washbasin in the bath. I was a bit concerned/ misled when it came to parking, as I asked about parking before booking my room. I was told on the phone by Hotels.com that there was free parking at the hotel, yet when I got to the hotel was told that the only parking at the hotel was valet at a cost. I was informed I could check with the hotel down the street their rate is […] cheaper or I could see if I could find a meter on the street. It's a lovely hotel - more modern than the Memphis Peabody, and a bit more comfortable. My only complaint was that it was noisy the night we were there -- probably just a result of our neighbors in the adjoining room. Parking (valety) was pricy, but convenient.

Great hotel - just be cautious of all the fees related to room service. Made it much more expensive than the menu. Great Valet service - great service overall - wonderful beds, and you have to love those ducks!

"Large clean rooms, large interior, abismal parking"
I stayed one night, and didn't eat there as I was driving across country and ate on the go. The rooms are fairly large and clean. Outlets are difficult to find in the room, however. The staff are friendly and don't mind chatting. The wireless is free but unsecured, and there's a bar near the main lobby. If you have a vehicle, expect to pay a bit for […] parking, as they don't have a lot you can park in and only provide valet service. Your vehicle is kept either at the front of the hotel, or on a side street. As all of my belongings were in it, I was a bit anxious regarding security, but they reassured me they had a guard who kept an eye on them all night. When I stayed (August 2011) the price for a king-sized bed cost the same as one in the Double Tree just down the street. I also stayed there three months back. "Recent stay"
I have previously stayed in this hotel along with its sister property in Orlando. This stay was different, I went to my room and the carpet was filthy and the room had a pet odor, I called down and they said yes they allow pets and they don't know how i got that room, so I got another room and the next one had stained carpets again but smelled but it […] was not as bad. i did not feel like moving again, so I went downstairs to discuss this with the manager , they ended up giving me a food voucher to be used that day for and the dinner was fine. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and elegance of lobby. My kids LOVED the "Duck March" at 11am and 5pm. The room was a little small but very nicely furnished and clean. The only complaint would be the lack of coffee in the room or available in the lobby. There are very few cafes around the hotel so you had to walk to the River Market […] for a descent, affordable cup of coffee. To order coffee via room service is outrageously expensive! We arrived late on our way to Nashville. The hotel was very conveniently located, clean, and comfortable. Our family loved watching the famous ducks after breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

"Close to the river"
Peabody Little Rock is a very nice hotel and eyeryone is friendly and helpful. Ask for the room that faces the Arkansas river. It offers all the aamenities you could ask for. Remember that there is a $20 charge daily for parking.

connected to Convention Center, + for meetings/events there. Close to rivermarket and trolley- downtown. No coffee maker in room and no pool, ask for riverview room. Valet service was great.

"With some fine tuning, would be great"
Overall, it was a good experience. They seemed a little understaff, particularly for the car valet. Also, there was only one person working the front desk when I checked in, and she was answering the phones, taking requestes for guests and tring to check me in all at the same time. The room was nice enough, excpet no coffee maker. That, to me, should […] be a basic, of any hotel that offers bathrobes and specialty toiletries. Second, the TV service appeared to be satellite service, so it totally went out several times in the hour that I tried to watch TV. Lastly, my king bed was made up beautifully EXCEPT that there was a deep impression in one pillow and one side of the linens, indicating that someone laid down on the bed after it was made. Ewwww... "Very nice but where's the coffee"
Very nice hotel, would defiantly stay there again, but don't expect in room coffee machine, there is none. Had to go 9 floors down to lobby to get coffee, then back up again. I recommend the bottom floor if your a coffee drinker.

The Peabody hotel in Little Rock was in a perfect location to all the surrounding museums, trolleys, and restaurant. It is an elegant hotel and the service is supreme. The ducks are the cutest items in the hotel and people come and watch as they waddled to and from the fountain. Overall, it was a very wonderful stay and we enjoyed it very much. My experience was what I have come to be expect staying at the Peabody. The service was prompt and with a smile. The room as usual was clean and comfortable. The hotel needs to get an upto date television set though.
