The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. easy access to restaurants and highways... one thing coming from Boston, it would be nice to have startbucks in it .. or near it - the closest one is about 10 blocks! but that is just being picky... The location was great. Close to everything in downtown. Lots of food choices. My only suggestion would be for parking. For the price of the hotel there should be courtesy valet for guests or discounted valet. Over all the 4 day stay was great and everyone was very helpful. "Friday Night in Downtown Little Rock"

Everything about my stay was top quality except the valet service. The valet service was incredibly disorganized and lost our reservations twice. They were polite about it. I would stay here again. "The Peabody is Dead"
We were quite surprised to find that this hotel had been taken over by the Marriott the day before we arrived. It made finding the hotel a little tricky, but also meant we were subjected to just about everything being in the process of changing. The person at the front desk didn't know the new Marriott system and needed help, they couldn't find our […] reservations due to the system change, the rooms didn't have menus or books because they were changing (but hospitality would send up the old menus/books), etc. That list goes on. My wife and I went to Little Rock for a getaway weekend and spent the night at the Peabody. There is nothing bad we can say about our experience. "Good hotel in downtown Little Rock"
It is a nice hotel in the heart of downtown Little Rock. Nice lobby, comfortable beds. The parade of marching ducks is a nice tradition. Only complaint was breakfast in the lobby, they were understaffed and our waitress was forced to wait on too many tables. Wish the hotel had an indoor pool. This hotel was nice or at least you could tell it used to be. Stains on the lobby chairs and couches were kind of weird. The room was nice enough and clean. We thought it was close to things we could walk to until they told us not to walk at night. That didn't made you not want to walk during the day either. Great location from what I needed and not far from the airport. I landed, claimed luggage, rented a car, checked in at the Peabody, and walked three blocks to the flying Saucer for dinner and beer in 45 minutes. Ate breakfast at the hotel. "Don't stay here!!! Not worth the $$$"
We made our arrangements about a month ahead for a deluxe room, pre-paid, and when we arrived at 12:30 pm, our room was not ready but we had to wait until 5 pm before we could check in. We had 2 rooms booked and when we opened the door to our room, it was occupied!! The concierge called downstairs and they gave us another room. The rooms are clean, […] but very small. The molding was peeling off the bathroom grout and the towels were fraying on the ends and were very thin! And then, we were woken up at 7:30 in the morning with a wake-up call that we had NOT requested!!!! The valet parking was very inconvenient, the wait was way too long, the whole place had an air of incompetence about it!! "A fine hotel in need of updating; avoid restaurant"
The hotel is quite good with a few exceptions. Rooms are small and have outdated CRT televisions (mine didn't even work, but I was there for a conference so this wasn't a problem for me) supposedly hooked up to a web-tv experience. There is a central atrium that goes the entire vertical height of the hotel which looks very nice but conveys the live […] music going on in the middle of the night on the ground floor all the way to the top, and soundproofing is terrible. Avoid the restaurant - go to one of the many fine restaurants nearby. It gets away with low quality and extremely high prices because of its travelling clientele being trapped on site. Everything was great except for one thing. We were put on the 6th floor and there was a noise of some sort above us that sounded like some kind of machine and it was constant and all night long. I was not happy at all. First we had to wait at least an hour to get checked in. We were going to a fundraising events and check in took so long that we had to leave or bags behind the front desk,go to our event and then they called us and told us that our room was ready. Then my husband had to leave our fundraiser go back and get the key to check in. […] And all they gave us was a free breakfast. The bathtub stopper didn't work, I couldn't take a bath. "Dear Fairwood Capital: please fix the Peabody"
Stayed 1 night on February 16, 2013. We booked a deluxe room through Expedia, but the hotel had us down for a superior room. I politely explained to the desk clerk that we booked, paid for, and expected a deluxe room. It's only a difference of ten bucks, but my wife wanted the nice river view. A young man, presumably the desk supervisor, came to assist […] and asked why we wanted an upgrade. I explained, again, that we were not asking for an upgrade, but had reserved and paid for a deluxe room. Finally, we got our "deluxe" room - complete with an antique television, damaged lamps, a moldy shower, and the strong stink of cigarette smoke at this purportedly non-smoking hotel. We didn't plan to spend much time in the room, so we just toughed it out. On the way down to dinner, I reported the smoke smell and asked if they could send someone up to spray a little air freshener. It didn't help if they did. We've had pleasant stays here before, but after this visit I think we're done with the Peabody until the next renovation.
