Anyone traveling with a pet should know that this is the place to stay The staff was wonderful the bed was great I would say that the hilton in salt lake was my best choice. I drove from San Francisco to new jersey and that this was my best hotel out of the ten hotels I stayed in. Thank u so much for the experience .

Very handy for attending events at the Salt Palace Conv. Center, but also for accessing most of downtown SLC. The restaurants in the hotel were good - Trofi cafe for a decent breakfast, and Spencer's for an excellent steak house dinner. Would definitely recommend this hotel it was clean, comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Close to all we wanted to visit. Will stay here again.

Overall, good experience. It's just that we had to pay for parking at $13/day. That's not so much fun.

All the amenities and the location was unbelievable! A few blocks from the Gateway shopping mall or a Utah Jazz game and right across the street from the Salt Palace. We had a lot of fun in the pool and hot tub. The beds are so comfortable (if you get two beds, one is soft and one is hard so pick your style).

The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool area is nice. The have their own parking lot unlike some other downtown SLC hotels. I've stayed there twice and I'd do it again. I only wish there was a mini fridge.

We've been staying at the Hilton more often than not for weekend trips to SLC for the Utah Symphony Orchestra (season tickets). It's in a great location and there are plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area, all in walking distance. You can go to the information desk to ask for a map and they'll point out all the good places to eat. You can […] get coupons from them for some of the restaurants as well. We've had a few problems with noise outside of the room, so we began requesting rooms further down the hall away from the elevator; they are always glad to accommodate us. The walls are pretty thick, but you can still hear people sometimes (but only occasionally). The thermostat in the room is fairly consistent at keeping the temperature where you want it. That is always a must for me when I sleep. The bed is a bit firm but it's very similar to the bed I have at home and I usually sleep comfortably on it. My husband likes hard beds and I like soft ones, so the bed at home is right in between and this one is just slightly firmer. I really dislike the pillows--they are the feather-filled-like (?) ones that let your head sink right into it instead of laying it on top of the pillow and supporting you. I try to remember to bring my own from home since I really dislike sinky pillows. I think we've used the pool once a long time ago--from what I remember it wasn't bad, just a regular pool and I think there was a hot tub that seemed clean (not foamy anyway). I think there was also a sauna in each locker room. The towels are rough like any hotel's towels, but they're BIG so that's quite nice. None of this trying-to-dry-off-with-a-handtowel-sized-washrag business. On my last stay there was shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, a body bar (soap), a facial bar (soap), body wash, a shower cap, and even mouthwash for you. I wish they'd keep glasses in the bathroom at the sink where you'll need them, but instead they're all the way across the room with the ice bucket. I don't Continua a leggere

For the past 4 years, my wife and I have traditionally spent Valentines weekend with friends at this hotel. We've loved it because of the nice rooms, the comfortable beds, the unbelievable steakhouse in the lobby but most especially, the swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and spa massage center that we are sure to take advantage of while there. Its our one […] weekend getaway we anticipate every year because of how relaxing it was for each of us. This year was a complete let down; the phone in our room did not work, the bed was very uncomfortable, housekeeping did not come by to check on us or make arrangements to clean or swap towels, the swimming area was filthy and littered with used towels and empty bottles strewn everywhere, the overall upkeep has rusted over the years and looks like the cieling tiles will fall in on you at any moment, the elevator buttons have faded so much you have to "read between the lines" to know which button to push, the spa was understaffed and couples massages were not available for us this year so we didn't get to enjoy that much anticipated luxery but the biggest letdown was the discovery that the sauna had been removed and the locker room custodian said it was not going to be replaced. Watching it deteriorate over the past years without attention to quality and maintenance has convinced us that we will need to shop a new hotel for our annual tradition. The first time I have stayed at this hotel. It was quite nice. Close to restuarants and everything in downtown SLC. Also close to freeway on- and off-ramps. Front desk personnel were very accommodating and helpful. I dislike paying $13/day for self-serve garage parking. The Hilton in Salt Lake was really nice and so are the staff. Upon arriving I found myself in a valley of smiles from the very first person I met.. Customer service explained everything I had available and gave me a password for internet access free at midnight! Entering the room, it was clean and quiet (couldn't hear a noise). The bathroom is also […] spacious and very clean. The shower seems to be bigger than my house. The bed was one thing that if I could take him home, I would have done. Overall I had a good experience at the hotel. However, the cost of amenities & food was outrageous! Everyone deserves to make a profit, but this was price-gouging. I would NOT recommend this hotel for someone who needed to depend on staying in the facility & using room service. This Hilton is in the heart of Salt Lake City. There are plenty of restuarants within walking distance. SLC is a very clean city and it feels safe walking the neighborhood. You are also within walking distance o the Morman Temple which is interesting to visit for people of all religions. The hotel is comfortable. Good accommodations close to many of the downtown venues and events. Excellent pool and exercise area. Must pay for internet and parking.

We really enjoyed our King Suite, it was very comfortable and roomy. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the sound of the elevators, they were not very loud but still heard them. 2 TV's, a very nice sitting area and office area, we had guests over and were able to sit and have a nice visit. We spent a few days at a conference at the Marriott City Center and wanted to spend an extra day before heading back to FL. The Marriott gave us a discounted rate of over 150 per night. They did not have another night available for us so me moved to the Hilton for our final night. I would recommend the Hilton over Marriott 10 to 1 after paying a little […] over 100 per night. This was our third meeting in SLC and will be back in May again. I am going to suggest that the 35 plus attendees stay at the Hilton for now on, The hotel was awesome, clean, comfortable bed, large tv and very friendly staff. Room service was excellent and the pool area was great. Only complaint would be the hot tub, very weak pressure. For the money, this hotel was a great value through Hotels .com Great job Hilton !!! I was very close to the convention center, so even when it snowed I was outside less than 8 minutes. Everyone I talked with was very friendly and helpful. The room was as clean and comfortable as any I have ever stayed in. Elevators were very fast so there was never a wait. Only 2 small complaints. They no longer have a shuttle deal with anyone and […] a Taxi to the airport cost over $20 , where a shuttle only costs less than $10. They need to add shuttle service. Also, the restaurant, which is very good, is way expensive. These hotels need to realize that many people are on budgets and need things like a $6 burger with fries. Continua a leggere

We were withing walking distance of Temple Square, Energy Solutions and Gateway, We had a great time service was great and everyone was very pleasant. Will definitely be a return customer.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made great recommendations of where to eat and things to do around the town. My room was on the 14th floor, facing west, with a beautiful view of the mountain. The room was spacious, immaculate, comfortable and I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. I left my toothbrush on the counter and the cleaning staff […] folded a towel in a charming design and rested my toothbrush on it. It was a very nice touch. And for the price - it was a great stay! This is the perfect location if you are interested in visiting downtown Salt Lake City. Unlike other hotels, the parking is also very reasonably priced. The amenities were fantastic and the beds are incredibly comfortable. I will stay here again for sure.

Probably will not stay in this hotel again. Yes it is clean and the staff did a great job, but if you need a refrigerator they charge you extra. You get charged for the WiFi and the parking. The rooms have no microwave and you get no free breakfast. The restaurants in the hotel were expensive. In Feb. we are attending another conference in this hotel […] and will be staying in the hotel across the street. We've stayed there before and the firg. and internet are free. Plus each room has a microwave and you get a small free breakfast each morning in their cafe. Nice hotel......... close to city trains/ transportation. Good onsite restuarant with a great breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend this facility.

I found the staff to be very pleasant, helpful, and responsive in this rather affordable downtown hotel. All of the staff we came into contact with were extremely kind and patient. We were traveling with two small children, a baby, a dog, an oversized vehicle (RV), and special dietary needs, so we were not the easiest of customers. Everyone from the […] Valets to the Front Desk to the Room Service staff was extremely gracious. The front desk was very friendly. The check in process was quick. The room was nice. A few things found made us wonder how well it had been cleaned. The location is excellent right in the heart of the city. Walking distance to reasturants and shopping.
