I loved this hotel. I met the Hotel Manager and raved to him. I stay at a lot of hotels. This was a great hotel, I want the shower for my home. I was pleased with everyone and everything. Aging facility... Some work was recently put into the building to fix it up but the walls in the bathroom had paint splatters, and the patches to the ceiling had never been painted. Air deflector was entirely missing from the Heater / AC so the air flow was directed at the side of the bed. The desk chair was way past its prime. The hotel was clean and management exceeded expectations. Got stuck during a recent and unusual ice storm in Salt Lake City. Management made my extra stay very comfortable by opening the breakfast bar after hours, coffee fresh. When it came time leave, the parking lot was a sheet of ice. "good for passing through stay"
The hotel is clean and looks like it was recently updated. It is next to a truck stop so the noise of the trucks running can be heard at least from some rooms. The beds are a little hard but they give you plenty of pillows. "Stuck in the snow"
The clerk was lacking in customer service and we reserved this specific because we could get a baby bed but then when we got there they wanted to charge us to us it. Another clerk came on duty and was much more friendly and nice. We then had the same unhelpful clerk again in the morning and there was no sausage left and he once again was lacking in […] customer service and said we don't have any, no I'm sorry but we are out of it or let me see what I can do. We got stuck in the area due to a bad snow storm and so the deodorant and toothpaste were helpful but wish they would have had toothbrushes. The pillows were so small I thought I was sleeping on a travel pillow and the bathroom smelled like urine. The rest of the room was nice and clean and the rest of the hotel just those things. The hotel was convenient to where we needed to be. The staff was friendly. "Just be cautious"
The hotel itself was fine and comfortable and although a little isolated, it is only a few miles from the town centre. The only concern is the truck fuelling stop just over the road from the front of the hotel, the noise is constant 24 hours. Excellent complimentary breakfast, very good condition of room and liked the iron/ironing board and fridge/microwave. Mattress was firm and the manager was very cordial. Altho the room A/C was set on "low", it drowned out the TV sound, so we ran it on "fan". Would have liked to get pay movies.
