Hotel aperto a gennaio 2011, direttamente sul mare (basta attraversare la strada), spiaggia stupenda dove depositano le uova le tartarughe... camere bellissime e vista mare spettacolare. Colazione ottima e prezzi accettabili (15$ il buffet). Tutto nuovissimo e pulitissimo. Parcheggio un po' caro (valet a 25$ al giorno).

Hotel nuovo e molto moderno. Camere molto ampie e pulite. Se di prenota in certi piani (io ero al 9°) ci sono ampi finestroni da cui si può godere una favolosa vista sull oceano. Ci sono tre aspetti negativi : 1) in tutto l hotel c é aria condizionata a manetta !! 2) l hotel non é proprio vicino alla centro di Fort Lauderdale. The hotel was nice, the view was fantastic! The food at the restaurant was ok. The selection was not as good as I had hoped especially for kids.

Had a long wait till our room was available (4.30pm) but courteous staff then upgraded us to one of the best rooms in the hotel. Excellent views of the beach and coastline.

Stayed two nights and got bit by bed bugs on both nights! I got bit almost 10 times! They really need to do a thorough quality/cleanliness check of their beds!!!

It was very relaxing and enjoyable.

I stayed at B Ocean over the Easter Holiday and ended up getting bit by bed bugs!!! The rooms seemed to be very clean but I ended up with the worse rash from bed bugs. Housekeeping needs to do a better job and the the Hotel needs to do more on site quality control of their rooms.

Glad we chose this hotel, had a great corner king room with vista of ocean across street, easy to walk strip along Fort Lauderdale's famous beach. Good Italian restaurant (__ Vinny's) closeby, Galleria shopping center closeby as well. Contemporary atmosphere, run by excellent young staff. Would stay again.

never even got to sit at the pool...over 4 day stay there was never a set available.... big drawback

I was disappointed at the bait and switch they pulled. I paid for a suite and ended up with a single.

The B Ocean Hotel was fantastic. My family of four (2 adults, 2 kids ages 8 and 4) were looking for a relaxing vacation for spring break and this was just what we were looking for. The staff at the Hotel was great. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. There was an error with our booking and instead of the junior suite we arranged and prepaid for, […] we were given a room with a king bed. We called the front desk, and the issue was resolved in an hour or so. Our room had a spectacular view. We were on the top floor (12th) and could see the beautiful ocean through the front window, and the shore line and city of Ft. Lauderdale through the side window. Our room was quiet and the size was good. My reasons for rating a 3 for comfort of the room are as follows: First, the bathroom was rather small. Really only enough room for one person to be in the room at a time. Secondly, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was definitely worn and you could feel the metal through it. We put a comforter over top the mattress and could still feel the discomfort of the hardware. Finally, for such a spacious room, there were only four drawers to store your clothing. A closet as well, but for your folded items, more drawer storage would have been good. The lobby was nice and had a very cool vibe, the restaurants served very good food and the pool was fine. A little small, but it worked. The surrounding area was a little shady - a lot of tattoo shops mixed in with bars, restaurants and souvenier shops. But overall, the vendors were very nice and you could find everything you needed withing walking distance of the hotel. We used the trolley to go to The Gallery at Beach Place for other dining options and shopping. We also used cabs. Our kids really liked the trolley. The hotel arranged for us to go to the Everglades for a tour. An air-conditioned shuttle picked us up at the hotel and brought us back afterwards. It was seamless and we enjoyed it. The service is terrible, unfriendly and unprofessional. Those at the front desk seem bothered when you speak to them. The wait staff is judgemental and slow. Our room wasnt vacuumed every day, our shower didn't get cleaned, they didn't change the sheets. It was strange our room never got cleaned because there were housekeeping crews everywhere- but […] just standing in the hallway talking. telephone didn't work, remote for tv didn't work. Lobby is very cool, enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant, pool is small. Over all enjoyed it and would stay again.

The hotel is amazing the views are sure real And the location is prime. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a trendy spot to stay in ft laudy!

I had my period during the night and the sheets were dirty. They left the same dirty sheets after cleaning the roomt!! one night I had room service , i put the tray in front of my door and the next day by 2:00 pm tray was still in front of the room bathroom are super small...bed and breakfast hotel offer better bathroom than this 4 stars hotel. Not […] enough available person to help with luggage.I have to wait for more than 20mn before having someone to carry my luggage upon check in and check out. for a 4 stars hotels shower kit is not complete...no shower cap, shoe tissue... i wouldn't rate this hotel as a 4 stars hotel.It suits better to a 3 stars one. however, I would add that they do have a incredible view on the beach and the hotel is very well located. overall, i was not impressed by the quality of service. I may be a bit biased having worked in hotel hospitality, but this hotel was severely lacking in basic customer service. Any singular thing could be overlooked, but the sum of several small annoyances equaled a negative customer experience. When we arrived, the front desk people made no inquiries as to why we were in town, what we were looking to do, […] or if there was any way in which they could help, which is pretty standard front desk stuff, but again, not that big a deal ny itself. I realized while getting dressed that I had left my socks in the car so I called the valet stand with no answer, but this is understandable as valets are always running to and from the garage. I then called the front desk and they told me I could easily access my car so there was no need to call the valet. I went downstairs to the valet stand and asked if I could get something from my car. The valet asked for my ticket and then took 15 minutes to go get my car. I don't blame the valet for this, but the whole reason I called down was that I didn't want to have to wait around for my car to be brought up. When we came down to leave for the evening, we asked for walking directions to the venue of the wedding we were attending, and the directions were wrong. As a result, what should have been a 5 minute walk turned into a 30 minute, walk with me in a full suit and tie my girlfriend in uncomfortable heels. Then, when we were preparing to leave, I called the desk to have my car brought up so that we could check out and leave without hassle, but the desk said that they "were not accepting call downs for the valet," which makes no sense at all during check-out time. "Call-downs" increase efficiency of the check-out process, so denying guests this option only delays them from leaving the hotel and causes a line to build at the valet. B Ocean is on my top 10 best hotels to stay at. everything about this hotel is great, not a bad thing that I can think of from the time I checked in, to the time I was ready to leave the staff was outstanding. I had my family with me on a business trip and my family was happy that we had B Ocean as our hotel. The location was perfect, the hotel is super […] clean. For the price per night, the service could have been a little faster. One day, no clean towells. Called front desk and it took 30 min to get them. Drinks by the pool took a long time to be delivered as well.

This hotel is at the corner of a big intersection but right across the street from the beach. It was perfect. It was a few minutes drive from Las Olas which I hear is the main drag but we did not go there. The hotel customers were varied -- couples, college kids on spring break and young families with little kids. The restaurant B'stro was nice for […] a quick and easy bite and there's a sushi restaurant too which looked nice. The pool area is smallish but it was fine. The staff were nice but I gave it a 3 because we waited for the whole day for maintenance. And sometimes the front desk just seemed clueless and distracted when we called. You're totally paying for this location...the hotel was recently remodeled, yet my room phone didn't work, not sufficient shelves in the shower..etc. and nothing really unique or exemplary about the room for the price. Customer service at the front desk lacked significantly, I had to use them a couple times and found them "inconvenienced" by my requests […] for assistance. Had the opportunity to stay here with a few days between business in FLL. Really enjoyed this hotel and staff. Pool bar was great and SAIA restaurant was excellent - lamb lollypops, dragon roll are amust. Check out Sandbar around the corner for music and cheap beet, pizza place on the corner was pretty good too for late night munchin.

Our room was a good size, pleasantly appointed with a lovely ocean view. Staff - pleasant, polite and helpful. Good location - walking distance to shopping centre and other amenities. On the downside, housekeeping was poor - bathroom never cleaned, used glasses untouched, etc. We left fair tip and thank you note first 2 days then gave up. Very accommodating staff, pretty rooms - great all around restaurant for breakfast and late dinners. just avoid Fort Lauderdale for spring break if you are over 20 years old!

I was here in 1978 when it was the Sunrise Inn, Now completely upgraded and beautiful. HIGHLY recomended, only draw back is it is SEVERAL blocks away from the strip(take a cab, dont walk).

I loved how every room has ocean views and a very sleek and modern decor. My intention for traveling was a winter getaway/reunion with my college girlfreinds. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the mornings and the B'stro breakfasts to go. The B'stro also offered wine tastings on weekday evenings from 5:30 to 7pm. We enjoyed how the wine tasting […] included cheese and cracker samples and used an automated wine distributor. The hotel beds and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. There are nearby eating options that are accessible by foot, not having a car didn't pose any problems for us. We loved the Primanti Brothers pizza and the Beach Bar. The beach is just across the street and very beautiful. The pool area, while small, had everything we needed. Recently stayed at the B after a week cruise. Rented 7 rooms as my whole family and friends were with us. All had a good time and my parents were extremely impressed with their stunning ocean view room on the 9th floor.

Great location. Hotel was quite good but sound proofing of rooms very poor so hope you don't get a noisy neighbour.... we did!

Our stay began on Feb 22 or should I say Feb 23 due to the fact they over booked the hotel. Our flight was delayed so I called the hotel to let them know. They said no problem. Upon arriving at midnight, they let us know after quite sometime that they did not have a room for us and the nearest hotel they could get us into was in Miami, 40 minutes away. […] They did provide transporation to and from Miami. We did not get to bed until 3:00 AM. The next morning we had to wake up and pack all of our stuff and wait for them to come and get us. We did get back to the hotel around 12:00. We were assured that we would not have to pay for that night at the other hotel. We were charged and I had to call the hotel to correct it.Not the way we wanted to spend our first days of vacation. Valet parking was also a problem. We had a party to go to one evening and called 35 minutes in advance, we got down there and the car was not there yet, so we waited for another 15 minutes. The valet had not yet gone to get the car. We arrived at the party over an hour late. We also did not like the fact that the rooms do not have a microwave, frig, or coffeemakers. On a positive note, the managers were as helpful as they could be. I did expect to get a night free for all of the problems we had. That did not happen. We stayed at this hotel for five nights before our cruise and upon returning we stayed at the Pelican Grand which was five stars all the way. For such a new hotel, the elevators hallways etc were not as clean as I expected them to be. Location s great, close to beach, nice restaurants etc. Some small things; late night dining menu starts at 10 and is really limited, even of you don't change my sheets everyday make it so it looks refreshed, when you replace toiletries replace lotion as well. Pros: Oceanfront location with all rooms having an ocean view; next to Birch state park, which is good for walking and Segway riding; within walking distance of The Galleria Mall and the great Truluck's restaurant, and just over a mile from the Las Olas beachfront area with nice bars & restaurants; good staff; nice but small pool area; in-house bistro […] served a good lunch; generally well-maintained. Cons: More of the previous occupants' hair in the shower than ideal, and some other small signs that housekeeping should be more meticulous; asked for a room fridge but never got it; in-house sushi restaurant SAIA is open only for dinner, not lunch, although the bistro is nice for breakfast & lunch; no coffee maker in the room, but free take-out coffee if you go downstairs to the bistro; self-service touch screen in lobby (for flight info & local attractions) seems cool but is slow and needs improvement. The pros outweigh the cons, and I would recommend the hotel to others who don't mind being over a mile from the beachfront end of Las Olas. Continua a leggere

The room we booked was described as "stunning" when referring to the view. When we entered the room, which was by the way on the 2nd floor (how stunning can any view be from the 2nd floor?), we saw our large window...facing a street. As we aproached we, if we looked to our right--there was the ocean. I called the front desk and they said they were booked […] and didn't have another room so the bought us a free breakfast, which was pretty good. There was no small refrigerator in the room, which I found quite suprising. The pool is small, very small and there is NO jacuzzi--very disappointing indeed. The interior of the place was clean and seemed recently remodeled but it was rather cold, sterile--kinda like a museum of modern art. Finally, our sheets, while clean, were not of very good quality. However, that was mostly attributable to inconsiderate guests, not the hotel itself - was a big party weekend. I didn't know what to expect with the hotel, but when I got there, valet was very quick. I got to check out and immediately asked if the place was newly renovated, they told me the hotel was only a year old. The room was super comfy and clean, nice pool area and friendly pool bar staff, couple restaurants on-site. Great restaurant a couple mins down […] sunrise "Franco and Vinnies" mmm. Only downfall, we were called and told our room was ready, when we went back (cause we had dropped our bags early) they said we could have top floor if we waited til 4, went back at 4 after wandering around for 45 mins, they still gave us 2nd floor. My partner and I stayed at the hotel the night before a cruise, when you need to have a quiet room to rest up. We were in room 1122 I believe. Nice room. Nice view. At about 7:00 PM while we were trying to relax, a wedding reception started in the penthouse. The dance floor and DJ were literally directly above us. It was so loud, we could not event […] hear each other talk. We couldn't believe that the hotel, knowing the reception they booked would go late into the night, would put guests in rooms directly below this extremely loud party. I called the hotel manager and he said all he could do was move us to another room and get us breakfast. I asked for some refund of part of what we paid for the room and his response was "you already paid Expedia" as if he had no control over the situation (of course, it was Hotels.com not Expedia). I asked him why he would ever put people below a wedding reception and he said he had been in a room three floors below us during a wedding reception and it was not loud. Of course it was not loud because what he heard was three floors below us. He did not even come up to listen to the noise himself. As to noise in general, the walls seem to be uninsulated for sound and we could hear everything around us. On the bright side, the decor of the hotel is very "cool." Our friends who visited from other hotels were very impressed. Beach access is very easy. The rooms have spectacular views. And, all of the staff (other than the manger) were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. Bottom line here is if you stay at the hotel, make sure you get a quiet room by staying away from their event spaces like the penthouse. Continua a leggere

When my husband and I came to check in, we knew we were early-- but check in at this hotel is 4pm, and check out is still at the normal 11am. Our room wasn't ready, so we were upsold on a nicer room, since we arrived at 12:30pm, and our room wouldn't otherwise be ready until 4pm-- a little bit of a hassle, but we got to choose our room on a higher floor. The […] view is outstanding. I would have liked to have a balcony, but it wasnt that big of an issue. The room was clean and comfy, but does not have a refrigerator or coffee maker. The swimming pool was small, no hot tub, and to get to the fitness room, you need to walk through the pool area. (it was raining the one day we stayed and when we went to the gym, we had to go out in the rain to get there.) There is no changing room for the pool area or gym, so on our last day we had to check out at 12 noon (was the latest they would let us) and our flight didn't leave until 5pm, so we sat at the pool and I had to change in the lobby bathroom stall before our flight home. All in all, we had a nice stay, but a few things could be worked on that would make it feel more like a luxury hotel. Continua a leggere

The look of the hotel was not what I had envisioned from looking at the website. The contemporary look of the hotel was nice but the furniture looked a bit dated. The room had a spectacular view but I don't think it was worth what I paid for. The bistro cafe seemed busy and the servers could not keep up with the volume of people during breakfast. The […] heated pool was a definite plus. Checkout was not pleasant as I had been overcharged for a pre-paid reservation so I wound up revewing my charges in the lobby before we left. I had to show proof of the rate charged to me from my online reservation, as the person checking us out was not aware that I had pre-paid and would not give me the credit. Best view we've ever had staying at Fort Lauderdale. Very good restaurant, esp. for breakfast. Very clean esp. the bedding. Hotel was very concerned about nesting turtles and the enviroment, which are important to us.

The hotel is newly renovated and it was super clean. Although I do think they have a few things to iron out - our stay was fantastic. Only one disappointment - we asked for robes a couple of times and never received them. But no big deal. Would definitely recommend.
