Our stay was excelleny. The hotel staff was friendly. Our rooms were nice and comfortable. We give this hotel 5 stars and we will defintely stay again.

My family an I were disappointed with the service of this hotel. Not enough towels, big hole in wall in bathroom, water leak under the sink, broken bed . Room was never really cleaned had to call supervisor for more towels , drinking glasses left unwashed. Hot tub had brown water screws uncovered in the hottub. The hotel was simply out of the way; my GPS would not even locate the address. The hotel was pretty clean, but a lot of wear and tear. The hot tub was just plain gross. However, the complimentary breakfast was worth the stay. A variety of different items each morning - a nice hot breakfast to start our day.

My family checked in on Monday afternoon our reservations was for two adults and two children under 12 years old. We had towels for three I called downstairs to ask for towels I was told they would be right up the towels never came. One of the beds in the room was broken it took them three day before it was repaired my stay was for four days we were […] not offered to move into another room. Bathroom behind the toilet was a big hole in the wall. My family and I were dissappointed with this hotel, this was not a three star it was more like a half star. Breakfast in the morning had hard scrambled eggs with no taste, bacon stuck together breaking apart because it was hard. Overall this was not a good stay with the Clarion Hotel. Continua a leggere

Very nice view on the of the intercoastal waterway from the backside of the hotel. A good location albeit not on the beach; will be better when they get The Carolina Pottery retail outlet back open at 100 %. Good to see this area making a comeback and revitalization and if the amusement park gets re-opened well it would be gangbusters for sure. If you are not wanting to hit the Beach, this is the perfect place. off the beaten path, but close to all the good stuff.

Everything was good in this Hotel

Nothing special about this hotel, but it was satisfactory. The hot tub was luke warm, and the water did not look very clean. I didn't try the pool because it wasn't warm enough for me to feel like swimming. Housekeeping didn't throw things away that were obviously empty, and that sort of thing. The hotel was great for its price, but there were a few issues: The inside pool was freezing and the outside pool was green Vending Machines were broken An elevator was broken Arcade games were outdated

The indoor pool was very nice with lounge chairs and plants that made it feel tropical. My kids had fun in the pool and the jacuzzi. Great free breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable for the price. Friendly staff. Overall the hotel was nice. We asked for a river view room and our request was granted. The first room smelled of smoke, the hotel manager on staff quickly moved us to another room. The staff was very pleasant. We would stay here again.

the motel was just what we needed to relax. I pastor a church and need time away to relax and get to know someone special in my life. My wife. this motel was nice, quiet and affordable.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is beautiful, the staff goes above and beyond to make you happy, and I was extremely impressed with how clean the rooms were - they vacuumed every day. Definitely would recommend it to others and I will stay there again when I'm in the area.

I never know what to expect til i get there when I book hotels online cuz pics and hotel descriptions can he decieving, but I must say I was pleasantly suprised at the value here. My biggest concern at any hotel is cleanliness and this one was pretty good! Rooms are small but comfy. Lobby is adorable! Pool and hotub area is beautiful, but I think chemicals may have been off by all the rain, and color didnt look inviting so we skipped it! One the good side, they provide an AMAZING hot breakfast daily. I'm talking eggs, sausage, pancakes, and lots lots more to choose from. WOW! Big savings everyday! Leave a good tip to the SUPER FRIENDLY breakfast staff! Minutes from Broadway at the Beach and the ocean! All in all, its WELL worth the price. Its either stay at a dump for the same price ON THE BEACH, or be 2 miles from the beach and sleeping somewhere NICE! I'll pick the cleaner option everytime and we goto MYRTLE beach ALOT! Very difficult to find, we were given 3 different addresses, cold indoor pool, GREAT breakfast, immediate area very depressed, but close enough to highway 501 and shopping area. Busy,but not noisy. Elevator broken first day, but was fixed later. Staff helpful and nice.

The room was average for an older place. Could have used a mattress replacement. The a/c unit ran all night just to keep up and it wasn't even a hot time of year. The first morning we got up to shower and there was no hot water. The pool was out of service and the hot tub was green. Stayed in earl spring. Price matched far inferior hotels in MB area (others had no interior hallways or elevator and rooms were much smaller). Clarion would be about 15 minute drive to beach but we were there for business so this distance didn't matter. Rooms are extra large, clean with tile showers and sinks- much like pricier hotels. I stayed over night to celebrate my mother's 65th birthday as a mother-daughter get away. Overall, the room was clean, beds were really comfortable but the noise was really bad. I stayed in room 224. It's at the end of the hall where I think the laundry room must be. We heard the washers spinning and knocking all night long! Great stay, friendly and very helpful staff. Location is good, short driving distance to all attractions. Good complimentary breakfast, clean rooms. Will surely come back. totally recommended.

Good rate and not too far from the heart of Mytle Beach. Indoor pool looked nice, we did not use. The room could use some updating but overall was clean and confortable. Just wish that the beds had been a little bigger. Sharing a double bed with my daughter is okay but if I had to share with another adult it would not have worked. Also the heat and […] ac is a wall unit which is a little loud and would wake me up from time to time when it kicked in. Overall for a brief stay in the off season not a bad place to stay, nice indoor pool and from the menu it looks like their lounge is not outrageously priced for a meal. I have always been pleased with this hotel, however my room this time was not as clean as it should have been.

The lobby area seemed nice, but once I went upstairs to my room, the maintenance was awful in hallway, the room was not very clean. There was something that looked like waste from someone's nose on the shower curtain. The housekeeping staff did not change my sheets after first night. I have stayed here twice, once my company booked me there, the second time it was my choice. The views from the back side of the hotel are fantastic, nice little balconies to enjoy. WiFi was free and easy to access. It will be my choice of hotels whenever I have business in Myrtle Beach.

I'm often in Myrtle Beach, this will be my regular hotel from now on. Friendly staff, nice rooms and a great little lounge. Also indoor and outdoor pools.

How interesting... the accommodations were basically nice and definitely do-able for a night or two. Clean but not spotless -- mid-scale in the rank. What impressed us is the customer service - from the front desk reps and manager to the pool staff! Everyone was professional on the phone and in person. During our checkout, we expressed several concerns […] about the room, and the manager respectfully listened, apologized, thanked us for bringing the matters to his attention -- and even accommodated us. So, even though it's not "home away from home," Clarion's staff deserve kudos and support to continue to serve excellently!... just sharpen up on facilities mgmt & housekeeping. Continua a leggere

In the first assigned room, the bedding was damp. They immediately sent someone to change the linen and check the AC. They offered and we accepted a different room, which had the same problem. Everything in the room was damp. We stayed in that room but spent a very uncomfortable night. I would not stay again or recommend to friends.

The service at this hotel was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Carion at Mrytle Beach was a good value for a business traveler. I had a conference and the hotel where the conference was wanted over 3 times the price per night and the Clarion was less than 10 minutes away. The room was nice (not extravagant, but I only slept there) there was a nice exercise room and restaurant. Couple of cons: the room had a […] slightly strange odor when you first walk in the door but wasn't too bad, and there were few convenient eating places within a couple minute drive. My family and I had a wonderful time at the hotel! Everyone was very nice, friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the pool the most! Can't wait to come back! Maybe next time we can book a suite!

Over all we enjoyed our stay.The service in the restaurant was BETTER THAN THE HARD ROCK CAFE !!!!!!!!! The only thing that was wrong was that a few of the towels were stained,but it was handled asap.we wish there was more to do around the hotel,but we were happy with the overall stay.

Not a good location. Not very clean. Nothing extra, such as complimentary breakfast that goes with all the other places we have stayed the past two weeks. Would not stay there again!

The hotel was very well maintained and attractive in the public areas. Staff was pleasant, though we had little interaction with them beyond check-in/out. Room was as described and comfortable. Criticism here are relatively minor: Sliding door to balcony would not open, the toilet had a minor base seal leak which left small puddle of water in the very […] immediate area of the toilet itself. The standing lamp near the a/c had some mildew spotting, I assume from the humidity of both the town and the a/c, but nothing major. Beds were awesome and linen clean.
