La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

"Great in-town location"
over-all, very pleasant. Negative - air conditioner was noisy.
"Convenient but very INCONVENIENT to sleep"
The room was okay, nothing more. The location was great. I didn't care about being charged $12 to go in and out of the garage. But what I didn't like was the then walls, Drunken people out in the halls yelling and partying till after 3am. Next night it was unsupervised teenagers running up and down the halls banging into walls and doors laughing and […] screaming and the 4am wake up call of the woman kicking doors screaming to wake up and let her in (about 20 minutes).... "Beware the extra charges"
Wi-Fi access is an extra, $9.95 each time you log in -- not per day, not per device, but each time you log in -- and not available the morning of checkout. If you are a member of their Priority Club (signup is free) the charge is waived. The adjacent parking lot is run owned by a third party, and the hotel bills your room for its use, another $12.00 […] a day. There is scant (if any) free parking in the area. These extras might not be deal-breakers, but should be considerations. The hotel is nice enough, but it's showing some age. In our room, the rack for the ironing board had partially pulled out of the wall, there was a mangled repair of the wall behind the door, minor scratches in furniture, and the handy electrical outlets on the front panel of the desk didn't work. The television is from the twentieth century (analog, not flat-screen), the system requires wading through menus to get to regular programming. In sum, our experience didn't suck, but we'll look again at the newer hotels in White Plains before we'll book the Crowne Plaza next time. Continua a leggere
"Crowne Plaza Hotel- White Plains, NY"
The hotel was very nice. The staff was also very nice. The only complaints were while we were there for my daughter's wedding, they had a beauty pageant for kid's going on. All the elevator's took forever to come. It was crazy waiting 8 -10 mins for an elevator. Also the attendant left the light on in our car, so when we are ready to leave our car battery […] was dead. They jump started it, but it caused us to be delayed with the new married couple and loading up all the stuff and gifts from the wedding, and taking the tuxes bck, and getting them to airport for honeymoon! "Paper Thin Walls"
The hotel was decent, but the walls were very thin, and you can hear everything. I was here on a business trip and not getting a lot of sleep was inconvenient. The plumbing above me (I was on the second floor) was extremely loud and I hear every door open and close on my floor.

"Great value for the price"

"Excellent Customer Service"
I didn't really get to experience all the hotel has to offer but I had a chance to see how their customer service rates. There was a mixup in what type of room I had requested and when I complained the hotel did everything to make sure I was comfortable and got what I expected. Otherwise, it is a nice looking hotel and the updated rooms are very nice. […] I did see one of their older rooms and while not terrible, for the rates that they charge you would expect more. "Nice room but no they had furs for sale GROSS!!"
We liked the room but were disgusted that they were selling furs downstairs. I will not come back because of this. We are animal lovers and found this to be disturbing. The hotel is very nice and the people working there are very friendly. The breakfast was tasty. We were also dissapointed that there wasn't a hot tub at the hotel.

The hotel is just like any other good hotel. I come to expect good quality from any crown plaza location. However, there was one nice surprise... the bar. The bar tender, Jake, made some of the best drinks I have ever had. I would call him the alcoholic executive chef. You must have a bloody mary and whatever else he recommends. "Crowne Plaza White Plains NY"
Buffet breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Access to NYC was easy on the train. Only drawback was the narrow double beds. Felt like we were sleeping on the edge all night when sharing.

It's a big boring box hotel, what else can I say. The rooms are exactly the same as you would find at at Holiday Inn/ Crowne Plaza anywhere on the planet. You get charged for every little "extra", like internet ($9.95 per day), local calls ($2 each), room service ($2.50 delivery + 18% grats) etc etc etc. That is so "last century"!! Like all big boring […] box hotels, there is no soundproofing to the hallway, so you can hear the slam of every door, the conversations of everyone who walks past, etc. Otherwise the rooms are okay, pretty much as expected. The only reason I stayed here was because the place I usually stay was full. This hotel is okay, but I would only stay here again if I didn't have any other options. Continua a leggere
"Great Location"
This hotel was located right by the main strip of bars in White Plains. I am familiar with the area but was staying in the hotel because of a wedding. The wedding party and the guests were from all over the US. They had a blast being able to stumble back and forth from the hotel to the local watering holes and restaurants. Highly recommended.

I WAS DELIGHTED WITH OUR STAY. eVERYONE WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE HELPFUL. sINCE WE WERE IN AND OUT WITH OUR CAR,WE USED THE VALET PARKING AND IT WORKED VERY WELL WITH US.

"Wait until the renovations are over"
The front reception area is a mess. My room was fine, except that sometime during the middle of the night a beeping sound started and never stopped! very disturbing. Front desk personnel was friendly and real. Valet was a bit preoccupied talking with a girl to notice that I needed help.
"Great place to stay!"
We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. The shuttles that took us to and from the wedding/reception were great to have! The staff was friendly and courteous. We had a delicious brunch the next morning before leaving. It was a great place to stay!

"Crowne Plaza White Plains."
Disappointing. The room was small with a noisy air conditioner and a very fuzzy TV. We were locked out of our room because of a lock malfunction. Then we were prisoners in our room for over two hours waiting for the hotel to fix the lock. The management was indifferent. Fitness room and pool were tiny. Fitness room was missing equipment. "微妙・・・"
不満に思った点→●冷蔵庫が無い。●ショッピングモールまでのシャトルサービスを頼んだら5分と言われて40分待たされた。クレームを言ったら慌てて連れて行ってくれたが。●チェックアウト後、列車に合わせた時間にタクシーを呼ぶよう事前に頼んだ際、｢駅まで送ってあげたいがシャトルバスが無いので…」と向こうから言っておきながらシャトルバスがあった。しかしフロントが混んでいて2分遅れたら行ってしまい、タクシーも呼んでいなかった。●9時に朝食から戻ったらもうすでにお掃除のやたら陽気なおばさんが部屋にいてビックリ！しばらくおしゃべりをしてチップを持って去っていった。楽しいおしゃべりもいいけれどバスルームの掃除をして欲しい。●レストランのボーイさんが朝食券をさっさと持って行っておきながら請求書を持ってきたのには驚 […] いた。良かった点→●ロビーのパソコンでフリーにインターネットができた。●冷蔵庫は無いのにアイロン＆アイロン台、ズボンプレッサーまであるのでビジネスの方にはいいかもしれません。※次は違うホテルに泊まります。 Continua a leggere
