*Both phones did not work in my room. *AC is super loud in room. *Food was some of the worst I've had in a hotel. *Room service came without silverware one am via a frazzled delivery guy that had no pen for me to sign with. Went to call for a fork, but had no phone to do so. Awesome. *One dinner delivery girl was very nice, but the food was still bad. *Took […] 2 days to fix the phones because the issue was not communicated properly to maintenance. *Cable system wouldn't let me rent movies - Told they could not reset it. *Front desk guy on 1/9/12 - 9:30am - casually chattered on the phone about what he gets paid, yadda, yadda, while I stood in front of him for more than a few minutes clearly needing assistance. He finally pauses and says he was making a reservation. Doesn't even put the phone properly on hold, just sets the receiver on the desk. *All around one of the worst stays I've had at a place ever. Most of the items in the hotel did not work. The elevators did not work properly. One was broken the other ones card reader was not working properly. The phone in room 514 the buttons did not work. There was a wedding and it took forever to make it upstairs. Room service was horrible. It took the lady three deliveries to bring the food to our room because […] they kept forgetting things. I overheard one of the guests in the morning complain she did not even get her room service. We were supposed to get breakfast included and they forgot to give us our green tickets when we checked in. The next morning we went down and the waitress asked for the green tickets. My husband went to the front desk and they told him to prove he was supposed to get a free meal for each of us so he had to go up to the room to get our receipt and the elevator did not work so he had to walk. The beds were too hard. Other than that, the place is ok.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. Only stayed one night, but it was close to the city and attractions.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The only cons were the double beds... not very comfortable and my room was close to the elevator and tile floor made for a noisy morning.

Everything was very nice about the hotel, except for the large wedding party that was staying at the Crown Plaza in Trevose, Pa. A large group associated with the wedding party was staying on our floor and they could be heard outside and in the hallways until about 2:30 am. I stepped out of my room and asked the individuals in the hallway to be quiet […] and I also heard another person near my room say the same thing. Shortly after 2:30, I was able to get to sleep. Now, I usually stay at Marriotts and they usually have security personnel on duty and in my past experiences with loud, large groups staying at the Marriotts, security usually keeps the large groups quiet. I stay at the Crown Because the service is outstanding. Both at the bar and food area and the room.

They need to clean the little Indoor play area.

Our room was very clean and modern. It also had plenty of space for our pack-n-play. We enjoyed the indoor pool and buffet breakfast as well. All in all we had a pleasant time at this hotel.

Great location if visiting sesame place. Close to a mall that has plenty of eating and entertainment options. Second stay at hotel and comfortable both times.

Room needed some repairs. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train. Staff were not very friendly. One of the elevators was out of service. The on site restaurant was not very clean. In the past, I have stayed at less expensive hotels that were nicer. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Everything was fantastic, until I took grand daughter and fried to the pool. It was past over chlorinated .... my eyes immediately began to burn a's we entered the room. I didn't swim and finally made the girls leave because I was concerned about their health. I choose the hotel so they could swim so have to be dissatisfied.

Overall the hotel was fine for the price and the proximity to Sesame Place. Several annoyances kept my ratings very average: 1) Room was failed to be cleaned - Had DND sign on door when my family went to breakfast at 8 AM. Left for Sesame Place at 9:30AM and took sign off. Returned at 7:00PM to find room was not touched. Had to call front-desk to inform […] them off situation and we had no clean towels. Waited 45 minutes and decided to go to dinner without showering and reminded front-desk of situation. Was resolved while eating dinner. 2) Hotel restaurant/pub - very much under-staffed for dinner - lengthy wait for service (although kids meals were free). 3) Nit pick - Room AC was noisy compared to most hotels I have stayed in. 4) Outdated hotel listing. Tried to get to Bennigan's restaurant after picking this from a hotel restaurant guide. They have been closed for sometime...not to mention the distance was quite a bit off. All rather minor that added up to a bit of annoyance. On the brighter side, the Italian restaurant across the street (Tuscany?) was very good and priced reasonably. Wait staff there were very kind as well. Overall I would give this hotel another go - It was a family vacation and having a 2 and 5 year old kids...I don't exactly look for the 5 star hotel (although it is always nice to be able to stay at a hotel and not have to call to the front desk! - maybe next time :-) ) Continua a leggere

For the price paid should have gotten queen beds but got full sized beds. The pillows were too much firm and impossible to sleep on.. There was no laundry room which is plus when travelling. There was no complimentary breakfast which is included for most hotels in the price range paid... Am very disappointed in hotels.com for recommending this hotel... The […] overall condition of the hotel was poor... I was expecting better for hotel with a fancy name like the Crowne Plaza. As I walked in the main lobby I quickly noticed the poor condition of the hotel... stains in the ceiling... paint finish on and around doors looked like it was painted by amatuers... Good hotel, good location but an unfortunate incident ruined our trip. The fire alarm went off at 1:30 a.m., again at 2:30 a.m, again at 3:00 a.m. and once again at 3:30 am! The hotel guests were not notified that this was a fault with the alarm although after the second time people called the front desk and were told it was a glitch in the system. […] Consequently we did not sleep all night and missed an appointment in the morning. My husband called the hotel manager in the morning and was offered no compensation. At check out when I complained they did give us a Priority Card and 15000 points (enough to book a room for a night at one of their chains). Continua a leggere

Everyone was friendly and polite. Service was excellent. When we returned on Saturday night, our pillows were arranged beautifully in a pattern and the hand towel was folded into a collared shirt, just like being on a cruise. We appreciated the special touches. I recommend this hotel, we enjoyed it.

Although we were initially given the wrong room size, they quickly changed it for the correct one. Lickety-split fast. I was there for business in the Hope room and the gentleman taking care of it could not have been nicer or more efficient. Lots of pastries, cookies, teas, coffees - and always replenished. They had everything ready for us when we broke […] for lunch at Brady's. Be sure to try the cheesecake. My husband and young son spent most of the time in the indoor swimming pool and both had a blast. The front desk graciously gave us a late check-out so they were able to swim without having to rush through breakfast. Unfortunately, it is a business area so there wasn't much for them to do after check-out while I was still in the seminar. They went to a mall and our little guy rode the little coin rides. It was March when we were there so it was too cold for Sesame Place, but we'll likely be staying at this location when we visit SP in a few months. I had to get up really early for the seminar so I appreciated that there were plenty of choices for breakfast. I fully expected a few pastries, but there were potatoes, french toast, eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurts, whole fruits, loads of various pastries and more. Front desk was very helpful in offering an inexpensive place to eat an early dinner with our son as well as giving me directions to Staples. This hotel is very nice and the environment is calm and relaxing. The staff is exceptional, I needed to print some documents and the desk clerk allowed me access to their hotel PC for my printing needs. The surrounding area is great, the street on which the hotel is located has over 30 restaurants and businesses. My favorite spot was the Road House […] Diner, amazing food for about $10 per person. The Hotel is located about 25 minutes from Central Philadelphia (mostly highway driving) so its a bit of a trade off, cheaper hotel rates but further away from Center City. Overall: clean rooms, great hotel staff and service and affordable rates cant go wrong with this hotel for a short trip. Continua a leggere

Stayed at the Crowne plaza hotel last weekend in Feb. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. Had kingsize bed, large room and bath. Housecleaning staff always said good morning and waited till we were out of the room to clean. Had breakfast at resturant one morning which was good and reasonably priced. Andrea was there to take our order and kept […] coffee coming. Now the down side, our room was on the front of the building room238. people coming out of the bar to get into their cars were loud and noisy. You could always tell when it was time for a smoke. They would stand under the over hang and converse. Other than that I was very satisfied with the hotel and the price. I would stay again. may ask for room on back side away from the front. The room and bathroom was very clean and nice. The tv however could have been better. There are many restaurants on street rd. and parx casino is nearby too.

loved it....i move around a lot...creeping w my significant other...will probably use this hotel from now on...price reasonable...we have stayed at some dumps....never again..... one thing...i got double billed..prepaid thru hotels.com and then again by the hotel...whats up with that nonsense.....

Great experience overall. Had dinner in the restaurant with one of the largest beer selections I've ever seen. Unfortunately at check out they charged me on top of my initial payment on hotels.com; needless to say, 5 days (3 of which were business days) I still hvent gotten my refund. I am truly satisfied with the experience I had while at the Crowne Plaza. Room was beautiful. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was so good to me I didn't want to get out...very comfortable. Checking in and out was a pleasant experience. Hotel staff from the front desk to the cleaning services were extremely nice. Thanks...will stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza. The room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. We'd definitely recommend it

Very clean hotel, friendly & professional front office staff, with a nice sports bar style lounge. Close to a number of good chain restaurants and 5 minutes from new casino. Great value for your dollars.

Overall our stay was good, but the only thing I wasn't happy about is that the person above me was showering and got water on the floor, which ended up leaking through the ceiling. Maintenance came quickly, but I was disappointed in the fact that this is suppose to be a semi new hotel and the ceiling was damaged from previous leaks. I loved the pool […] and the hot tub. good is close to sesame place. Pool water is heated ?. i dont think it needs to be heated in the summer. water little muggy prob due to being heated.

A very comfortable place to stay. Although rather busy our needs were met and everyone was friendly coming and going.

Only stayed one night, but room is very clean, staff friendly.

Apparently there were a couple high school hotel parties going on on our floor because we were kept up most of the night by loud screaming and running down the hallways. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. Then at 4 in the morning a drunk wedding guest with no pants walked down the hallway knocking on every single door asking to be let […] in. 9:00 in the morning had cleaning people vacuuming, laughing and knocking on our door despite a do not disturb sign. The next night more loud screaming at all hours of the night. Someone then pulled all the do not disturb signs off of the doors which meant 9:00 in the morning we had the cleaning lady walking into our room while we were sleeping. Check out was at noon and this was a weekend so you might expect they would let you sleep in. The hotel is very clean and exceptionally comfortable. But we got no sleep there and will probably never stay there again. This was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in in the entire world. I slept better in a run down hotel in Pusan, South Korea that was full of hookers than here. Continua a leggere

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and modern. But the walls are paper thin, you hear EVERYTHING. We were up ALL night with screaming drunks running around and the hotel is apparently powerless to stop this. Then if the lack of sleep all night wasn't bad enough, house cleaning starts their rounds real nice and early. Once again, you hear EVERYTHING. Vacuuming, […] banging, laughing. It's 9:30 in the morning and we got no sleep, well no catching up on any in the morning. Then our Do not Disturb sign apparently means knock on the door a lot until you get out of bed and answer to say you are still trying to sleep. Come here if you want to party all night in the hallway, but if you want to get some rest before a big day, find some place else. Continua a leggere
