Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port Fort Lauderdale

Nel giro di 9 mesi è la terza volta che soggiorno al Ramada e sono soddisfatto anche se questa volta c'era un grosso inconveniente non dipendente dalla gestione dell'hotel. La pista dell'aeroporto di Fort Lauderdale è in parziale manutenzione per cui gli aerei sia per decollo ed atterraggio passano sopra l'Hotel. Il giorno 13-14 vi passavano in fase […] di atterraggio e passavano molto bassi proprio sopra l'hotel con il rumore che lascio immaginare. il 15-16-17 vi passavano a lato in fase di decollo ed il rumore era un pò minore. Questa situazione sembra si debba risolvere il 4 luglio con la riapertura di tutta la pista. per fortuna di notte non ci sono voli. per il resto sono soddisfatto. Continua a leggere

Ho trovato l'hotel accogliante ed idoneo al mio uso. La precedente esperienza mi aveva lasciato un pò dubbioso su un rumore notturno , questa volta tutto OK! Unico neo un segnale wireless scarso per cui dalla camera non riuscivo a collegarmi e dovevo scendere ai PC della sala PC dell'hotel

ho travato l'albergo ottimo per le mie esigenze. uno neo che verso le 2 -3 di notte un rumore di condizionatore o ventilatore disturbava il sonno, almeno nella mia camera 262. ritornerei volentieri ma chiederei spiegazioni per questo rumore un pò noioso. resto come discrezione pulizia e servizi per me è stato buono.

The room was moldy and my wife will never stay there again. We could not get wifi in the room and had to wade through 3 inches of water and rain outside the room to get to the lobby to access the internet. The free continental breakfast in the morning was horrible. The $5 additional for one plate of hot food was the only option to get anything decent. […] The bed was marginally comfortable and the room was spacious enough. The only real good thing was shuttle service from the airport and cruise port (with very few times available for the cruise and it is very important to call at 11am ET the day before to get on the list). We found the hotel to be convenient because of the shuttle service.We stayed in two different rooms both were clean beds were comfortable and ample hot water for showers.The place needs renovation every thing was a little tired.The free breakfast was fruit toast bagels pastry and grits.For $5 you could get an omelet bacon and pancakes.The big surprise […] was dinner it was really good.The loungers at the pool were all broken,the underside supports were cracked and the pads were ripped.There was a nice restaruant a block away in the marina but thats it for nearby stuff.They do run a free shuttle to a local mall once a day. The hotel looked nothing like the photo on the website. It was run down and dreary. I'm glad we only had to spend one night there.

We would not stay here again. The manager was extremely rude. There was a free breakfast. I always go down and fix my husband and I coffee and bring his food back to the room. The Manager would stop you as you came in the breakfast area and watch you. HE WOULD NOT let anyone take food back to their room and aggressively confronted people about it. One […] man took his out anyway. I didn't want to make a scene so we didn't get out free breakfast. There were also people roaming the parking lot of this hotel. And they charge to leave your car if you're cruising. I wouldn't feel safe leaving my car there. There are many hotels that let you leave your car for free. We parked at the port and paid more rather than leave our car here. We've stayed at many hotels in this area and we will not return to this one. Continua a leggere

Extremely hard to get to, poorly located. About 3 miles from airport and directly on the flight path. Restaurant was good, hotel staff nice but this hotel is very 'worn'. Air conditioner didn't work in our room, and the fan rattled excessively. Did not have a good nights sleep. I would avoid this hotel. I would not have stayed for more than one night. The hotel looks old and tired. It needs new carpet, paint, bathroom fixtures and beds.

Old small bowl toilets, okay for ladies but not for guys. Few nearby facilities (walking distance). Have Corned Beef Hash printed on the "paid for" breakfast menu, but NEVER have had it. Free breakfast is minimal offering.

Close to airport, easy shuttle ride, Kids had fun in the pool

A one night stay. And might have had a one night stand: as I approached my accommodation a pleasant prostitute briefly engaged me in conversation. I imagine this could have happened just about anywhere; I didn't feel there was any safety issue here... As for another type of 'working girl', the gal at reception was very nice and efficient. Hotel has […] a late 1980s feel about it, but upkeep is good. My accommodation - dated, spacious but clean - smelled too much of cleaning fluid. The location is just off I-95 and food (other than that sold onsite, I didn't try) is not easily walked to. I chose to walk the overpass - not for the faint of heart - to a pretty good bbq joint 3/4 mile away. Complimentary wifi was appreciated. the room was dark, even with the lamps on. a big gap was between the door and the doorway. they charged for a good breakfast and they charged for the airport shuttle. It did not look like a high class motel.

My room key had to be re-keyed EVERY time I tried to use it because they couldn't look on their computer and see I'd be staying there for 3 nights. Internet also had to get a new password every day for the same reason. I will have to say it has a nice quiet pool if that's all you're interested in. But they do alot of work with the Port so if you want […] to check in on time... BEWARE! Some rooms weren't ready until after 4. Close to airport and rental cars. Excellent breakfast, room very clean. AA++

came into room flipped on light to find roach "palmetto " on my pillows. gave it to the front desk, they werent concerned. if i was traveling with my girlfriend, we would of had to move to another hotel. not just the new room witch was offered.

The hotel personnel were helpful, the rooms were clean and near the pool and the restaurant good. The shuttle to and from the airport met our needs.

This place is inexpensive for a good reason; it is way over due for a major make-over, it is isolated from restaurants and services and the cleanliness was suspect. The people were helpful and handled all the ship passengers well enough but I suspect there are better choices in the area.

Older but more than adequate for overnight prior to a cruise. Staff friendly, courteous, helpful. Food better than expected with free breakfast & for $5. the full Monty. Honestly your hotel rooms need a bar fridge, and in the lobby it states on the wall that there is free shuttle to and from the mall however I was told by the staff on duty that it will cost my group of 3 $70.00 round trip so am not sure why this happen. An I spent 3 days at Best Western in the same area an there was complimentary breakfast however at […] the Ramada there was compliment breakfast but there was a charge of $5:00 for eggs, omelets and other stuff that makes up a complimentary breakfast and I was not really impress with that service. Not like any other Ramada I ever stayed in. Decided to stay just one day in Fort Lauderdale before driving down to Key West; bad decision to stay at Ramada. Carpet was dirty and mildewy and the fitted sheets were ripped. The bathroom was the worst. The showerhead was broken and the bathroom was consumed by 20-50 little flying black bugs coming from […] the drain. Having other people's hair in the tub and the sink is a major turnoff. The room wasn't bad, but their were ants everywhere. The maintenance guy came and sprayed, but then all night long we still had tons of ants. The location was convenient due to us being close to the airport and cruise port. The breakfast was a joke, Unless you paid extra money you got toast or a bagel or a muffin. Upon booking a room at this location we were assured the hotel is close to the port from which we needed to depart on a cruise- it is not! Also we were told to sign up for the shuttle service to and from the port and or airport - the shuttle was no where to be found, we waited a half an hour and barely made our flight only after calling for a taxi. […] Do not stay at this hotel- they're horrible Continua a leggere

There were two dead cockroaches in our room. You have to wonder how many live ones there were, although we did not see any.

Clean, convenient to airport and cruise port, a good value.

This hotel was horrible, the condition was terrible! I would never stay here again. The breakfast was bad, it was just toast and juice and the breakfast attendant followed u like u were going to steal a piece of toast. On the way back from vac we spent more money and stayed at the best western and what a difference, much much better. Very slow at service. Long lines for check in/out. Nothing in area to travel by foot.pool wasn't very clean..

Like most of the SoFlo hotels we've stayed in, this one is probably at least 30 years old and in need of total refurbishment. Unlike most, this one seems to be well cared for. The lobby, restaurant, bar, and room were all very clean, and the grounds and pool area were nicely landscaped. One of the things that sold us on this hotel was the fact that […] it has a Tiki Bar on property, but unfortunately we never found it open. The property description said that it was 'seasonal', so I guess we should have asked for a definition of seasonal, because the weather was beautiful. Great location, less than 15 minutes drive to downtown Ft. Lauderdale, and practically right under I-95. Despite being so close to a major highway, the room and pool area/interior grounds were nice and quiet. International staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in with a Jamaican guy who had a great sense of humour. If we can figure out how to have the Tiki Bar open, we would not hesitate to stay here again. Continua a leggere

Transport service to and from Airport, Hotel and Port were excellent. Location of hotel for easy travel time is a big benefit, though shopping is not nearby. Condition of hotel and bar service is poor. Over night stay before cruise at reasonable rate with free shuttle is the main selling factor.

Stay was comfortable, deal as stop on way to Cruise. Staff friendly and very helpful. Shuttle service to and from Airport and Cruise Port excellent. Hope to be back next year. P M

I didn't use the blanket, because there was something smeared on it.

I will say that the convenience and location of the hotel for our cruise and the airport was great. The staff was very accomodating and the van picked us up and dropped us off in a very timely fashion. The rooms left much to be desired. They were clean, but needed major updating. walkways very wet when raining. rooms run down poorest continental breakfast we have ever had had to switch rooms second night as there was no record for our second night. same style room but were charged much more than the one secured thru hotels.com
