Vicino all'autostrada discreta struttura per una notte, reception dentro al casino, un parcheggio separa l'edificio delle camere dal casino, io ero ai piani superiori per cui il mio giudizio è discreto, al piano terra... non voglio pensarci... Per una notte di passaggio è ottimo, per più notti solo se sei un giocatore, il casino mi è sembrato molto pittoresco! Near Highway just for one night if you are not a player, reception inside casino, casino very strage but very nice.

L'aeroporto di Reno è circondato da uffici, aree residenziali e vaste aree adibite a parco. Molti di coloro che atterrano qui partono rapidamente per la California e il lago Tahoe per la navigazione estiva e lo sci invernale. Il confine di stato e la località turistica di South Lake Tahoe sono a poco più di un'ora di auto dall'aeroporto, accanto al quale si trova Meadowood Mall, uno dei più grandi centri commerciali di Reno.

Stay was great but the fact that i had to pay an extra 13 dollars for services that i wasnt going to use really got me.. I purchased the room for 35 but paid 48 total.. Disappointed .....so whenever you purchase the GSR from Hotes.com expect an extra charge at the hotel..

"MAIDS NEED TO LEARN TO CLEAN"
THE STAY WAS QUIET AND RELAXING..BUT THE MAIDS DID A HORRIBLE JOB ON CLEANING THE "NEWLY RENOVATED SUITES"!! THERE WAS DUST ON THE TABLES AND COUNTERS, PAPERS LEFT UNDER THE SINK FROM PREVIOUS GUEST!! YUCK!!! ALSO THE LUMPY BEDS WERE NOT NEW!! NO WAY..NOT TO MENTION THE ONE PLY TISSUE!! "Horrible experience"
This hotel was dirty. The staff unfriendly. The elevators had gang graffiti on the hand rails. Looks like someone bled out by the elevators from the huge dark red/brown stain. I felt uncomfortable in the dark hallways. Every thing was over priced. Resort fee? For what 2 bottles of warm water? Toilet didn't flush, shower didn't drain. "A Nice Place to Stay"
Grand Sierra Resaort & Casino is a VERY nice hotel. The site is a bit removed from other casinos in Reno but overall it is indeed one of the nicest places in town. You can't lose staying here - they have everything you will need right on site.
"I'd stay again"
The Hotel is great. They have a variety of great restaurants, bars, stores, a bowling alley, a candy shop, and a movie theater ($3 a seat - cash only). However, the rooms are in need of an upgrade. Carpets and wallpaper were a bit old and dingy. Clean though! Some rooms are pet friendly!

Everything was acceptable but the casino was under construction as were the roads getting to there. Price was great even after paying the hidden fee called a resort fee. Add $10 to your bill for this fee.

"Hated this Hotel"
Rooms are so old and need updating so badly. The restaurant we ate at was good, but, way too pricey for what we got.

In the past we have always looked forward to staying at the Grand Sierra. This trip the room had no "Do not disturb sign" available, no plastic liner for ice bucket, no pen and paper (needed to take down a phone message). We will be looking for somewhere else to stay on our next trip to Reno.
We enjoyed ourselves very much . will be back for sure
"for a four star hotel"
I was not impressed at all especially for the price and rate of this room...the room was like that of a 2 star hotel, run down, not comfortable, low end amenities and pricey for meals.

Rooms could use updating. Furniture in room was uncomfortable. They did not clean our room daily. AI had to call and request they clean our room after the 2nd night.

Nice hotel to stay at. I was not too happy with being charged a mandatory fee for hotel shuttle, gym, and bottled water. The rooms are okay, but the place was too warm for me. "Rooms are old"
This is the second time I've stayed at the Grand Sierra in about 5 years. The hallways are dark and still decorated in a very tacky southwest theme. The only thing that has changed in the rooms is the bed - which is better than it used to be. They have plastic liners on the pillows which crinkle whenever you move waking you up. They also only provide […] a sheet and a slightly thicker "bed spread" for a blanket. The tile in the bathroom was cracked, the paint on the sink "cabinet" was stained and dirty, and the bathroom was still decorated in the southwest theme. I understand that the hotel is still remodeling their rooms, but 5+ years is unacceptable. The Peppermill built a new wing and remodeled all their rooms in about 3 years. Grand Sierra needs to step it up and finish the remodels. Until then, the rooms are tacky and lacking in the elegance of their competitors. Continua a leggere

"Only stayed about 11 Hrs."
I was only at the hotel for about 11 hours, 5 of those were spent at a black jack table. 6 spent sleeping. I got the smaller suite for a pretty good rate during the middle of the week. The room was actually pretty decent ( there was however one light bulb out ). The shower was very nice I enjoyed it in the morning before I left. The bed was VERY comfortable […] I slept like a baby. The check-in was very easy. I was there only a short amount of time so I didn't really get to check out any of the things the hotel had to offer. Very close to the airport with shuttles going back and forth all day - everyday. All and all very good stay would recommend to a friend, and will most likely stay here again. "I will not go back"
They put us on a dog floor. Barking dogs at 10pm. They moved us after I complained . Dogs barked in that hallway also. We had to call security to have the dog removed. They did not replace our toiletries ever. The walls are so bad we heard seeing and story telling from 1444 at 1:30 am until 3:00 am. The elevator was broke and I got stuck in it. "Great for the Gun Shows"
Large hotel that host guns shows and is very convenient. Rooms are dated and need updating. Basic lodging, smoky casino and good buffet.

"Beautiful Hotel"
The hotel is going thru extensive upgrades. The rooms are nice. The view is great. The restaurants are excellent. However - I was awakened 2 times at 6:15 am with construction noise while contractors renovated nearby rooms.
