La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

Siamo stati veramente bene. La posizione è fantastica, e centralissima, prorpio davanti a Central Park. La colazione, seppure non economica, era ottima con servizio eccellente. Una sera abbiamo cenato in hotel e siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti (...un filetto da sogno..). Ottima posizione, personale discretamente disponibile. Buono il ristorante, anche se per la colazione si potrebbe fare qualcosa di più... Ottimo il massaggio anche se un po' troppo caro.... Nel complesso...positivo. da ritornarci.
E' soprattutto collocato magnificamente ed il livello generale è alto. Belli gli ambienti e livello di attenzione al cliente assolutamente in linea alle aspettative di un 4/5 stelle. Dovessi (speriamo) tornare a NYC, questo è il posto che prenoterò.

"bello e comodo"
bellissimo, centralissimo, mezzi di trsasporto vicini e comodi.Camera e bagno ben arredati , comodi, enormi. Pulizia estrema negativo: non ho consumato niente dal frigo, lo usavo per mettere il mio yogurt, ma un contatore conta le volte che viene aperto e ho dovuto pagare per quello. Escluso questo solo ottime impressioni
"Central Park"
Service was wonderful and the room was enormous by NYC standards (was upgraded from a junior suite to a full suite upon arrival). The hotel is starting to show signs of aging but beautiful all the same. Wonderful for business, romance and relaxing.

"Jumeirah Essex House is great"
The Essex Suite was enormous and very clean. They gave us a complimentary ride to the theater district when it was tough to get a cab. My only complaints are that the late night room service menu is very limited and not family-friendly as far as it's choices (so we didn't order and they lost money) and it would have been nice to have our own coffee […] pot/coffee service so we didn't have to order a $30 pot of coffee in the morning. I spent just a little more than most trips. Once in the city and heading up 8th avenue, my wife looked at the receipt and almost flipped. The next day while walking in Central Park, she said the bed alone was worth every penny!!! "Flawless stay in beautiful Central Park"
This was my 5th visit to Jumeirah Essex House. I'm pleased to say that this time was by far my best experience; truly comparable to the finest 5 Star hotels in the world. The check-in staff (especially Fatima) were efficient and friendly, the room was spacious, immaculate, and full of luxury from the enormous flat-screen HD tvs to the majestic bedding. […] The location is unbeatable near all the sites/great restaurants of NYC. The concierge and doormen--also equally attentive and helpful. Tips for a good room: rooms without a Central Park view are much larger and you'll get a lot more bang for your buck. Why enjoy the park view from the room? Location is the Best ever! Hotel is clean and people are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and plan on staying here when I come back next time.

When I checked into the Jumeirah Essex House last week, I was offered an upgrade to a suite at no additional cost. I accepted the upgrade and was given keys to a gorgeous, spacious suite with a living room overlooking Central Park and a mast bedroom, conveniently facing the quiet or back side of the building-both perks of NYC. "Surprise"
This was our first time at the Essex and we will always go back when visiting NYC. For the price, the quality of the room and the location makes this hotel a "no brainer"!

The hotel was the perfect hotel in the perfect place for us, overlooking central park. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff more than helpful. We carnt comment on the food as we did not eat in the hotel. I would stay here again if I were to return to New York
"Pure class"
This place was almost a caricature of the perfect hotel, from the helpful staff, to the unrequested, free room upgrade (from queen to king), to an email several hours after my arrival to ensure everything was up to my expectations. Cannot wait to stay again.

The Jumeira Essex House has clearly has had a wonderful make-over from its earlier days. Our room was very tastefully decorated, with beautiful fabrics and a lovely bathroom. The only shortcoming, if you can call it that, was that it was hard to turn out all the lights without going to some lamps and switching them off individually. "A must stay hotel in NYC"
From the moment you walk into the lobby you realize what an exceptional hotel this is!! Beautifully decorated, fresh flowers displayed throughout, courteous staff and a wall of wine bottles from the adjacent restaurant can be seen. The rooms were very spacious, especially for the price you pay, and they have detailed features that not only look classy […] but maker the room very unique. Sometimes when you look at pictures of a hotel online you hope and pray it will be half as nice... In this case, the pictures didn't do it justice as it was better than imagined! "no coffee"
this is our favorite hotel near Central Park. one little sticking point is there is no place in the hotel to get a coffee without sitting in the restaurant. most hotels offer coffee in the room or in the lobby or have a small starbucks, etc.

"Jurmaih Essex hotel in NYC"
Three of us had a wonderfully cozy junior suite and really loved it! No coffee maker in the room but when we asked they sent up a Keurig and a kettle for us at no charge. Staff were very polite and very helpful. They will provide you with a small fridge for drinks if you ask. If you remove drinks to store your own a sensor will automatically charge […] the room. But they will remove it from you bill when you check out. Very classy hotel in a great location. Very close to the Met (opera) and everything else you would want to be close to in NYC. A very enjoyable stay or the second time. Sumptuous decor and fantastic location for shopping with fifth avenue and park avenue right around the corner. Really spacious suite fitted out to a high level. Would recommend.
