Consiglio questo hotel a chi 1) ha necessita' di alloggiare a poche centinaia di metri dall'aeroporto del Lussemburgo e 2) vuole "consolarsi" con una ricca (per gli standard europei) prima colazione ed una cena di buona qualita'. Sono stato in altri alberghi della catena Campanile, e la cucina e' tradizionalmente uno dei loro punti di forza. Questo hotel lo ha confermato, ed inoltre la sala ristorante riesce ad risultare gradevole (e' in legno), cosa rara negli alberghi. Un servizio navetta gratuito e' disponibile per il vicinissimo aeroporto. Per il resto, la camera doppia dove io ho alloggiato era molto piccola, anche se con un bagno discreto, e con un' aria da hotel austriaco o tedesco anni 70/80. Il parcheggio sotto l'albergo e' gratuito e abbastanza grande (andate sul retro dell'edificio).

"Good hotel"
We spent only one night in Luxembourg. This hotel was a nice option. Large room and clean.It is not walking distance to the center. It has free parking. When visiting the city we parked in the city, not expensive for european standards. I will stay there again.

"Hotel needs a bit of a refreshment but still very"
Hotel is very good and staff are very good. the facilities are good. Only issue is they still charge for internet at 17 euro's per day.!!!!!!! I would still stay at the hotel as the staff, room, pool etc are very good. They also offer a free shuttle to the airport or town. The breakfast is also very good.

We stayed in this hotel in August 2011. In general it is not bad, but you would expect something better from "Hilton" . Rooms size was OK, but it was quite old (with non flat TV). Despite that our room was 3 rooms away from elevators (on 17 floor) - noise from them was Very loud so if such things bothering you - you will be in trouble. All the rest […] was quite average as well besides the rates for all extras - VERY high. Cheapest internet they had - cost 10 EURO for 60min. No free wifi in the lobby or what so ever. We had a pleasant stay in Luxembourg and the staff was very friendly at the Doubletree by Hilton. I would recommend staying for a quick get-a-way like my husband and I did for 2 nights. Although i misread the directions and found it difficult to find the hotel, and despite it's rather off-putting exterior appearance, we were delighted with this hotel - spacious room, delicious breakfast, convenient bus-ride from the centre. Everything was good except shuttle bus with very limited spaces. Buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent with reasonable prices.

"Hilton Luxembourg - very disappointing"
We travelled to 11 countries in 6 days and this was the low point. Location is not bad, an easy bus ride from the centre. Warm cookie on arrival was a noce touch. However two big black marks. The pillows were the size of a postage stamp and completely flat - just one each as well. Not the normal Hilton level. The whole place smells like cigarettes. A bit far from city. Very expensive food at the restaurant.

Nous sommes toujours satisfait de nos séjours à cet hôtel, par contre cette fois-ci un peu moins, accueil en anglais à notre arrivée, aucun document en français,dans la chambre, le matin réveillé par des aboiements de chiens. Hotel tour de bonne qualité mais au mobilier ayant déjà vécu. Bon service à la réception, service et accueil très souriant dans le restaurant.Déjeuner et repas très corrects
Points positifs: petits déjeuners copieux, piscine très agréable donnant sur un patio, accueil du personnel, grandes chambres. Points négatifs: tarif pour le chien très très élevé, bruit de soufflerie continuel qui nous a empêchés de trouver facilement le sommeil... Bardzo dobry hotel, bardzo miła i profesjonalna obsługa. Niestety, jeżeli chodzi o koszta, to niekoniecznie jest to najtańszy hotel. Szczególnie ceny Internetu są po prostu z kosmosu. Hotel jest trochę na uboczu, ale w sumie do centrum miasta jest łatwo dotrzeć - autobus linii 5 jest tuż pod nosem.

"Super service, men slidte værelser"
Super service og morgenbuffet. Begge til UG. Værelserne var ekstremt slidte og gammeldags. To dage som vi havde var ok, men en længere ferie ville ikke være til at holde ud i et brunt slidt værelse.

Je suis très satisfait de mon séjour dans cette hôtel. Des l'accueil on nous offre un cookies de bienvenue. La chambre très propre et confortable. très agréable le sauna et la piscine. Le petit déjeuner est extra , je recommande. Il y a juste le bar , pas terrible , assez cher et le barmaid ne sais pas servir un whisky sans le noyer ( plus de glaçon […] que de verre). Excellent dans l'ensemble. Nous avons surtout apprécié la piscine et l'équipement sportif. Une seule remarque : l'hôtel est insuffisamment balisé et très difficile à trouver.
J'AI APPRECIE MA NUITE ET LE CONFORT DE LA CHAMBRE OU J'AI PRIS MON REPAS EGALEMENT. TOUTEFOIS J'AI UNE RECLAMATION CONCERNANT LE "SERVICE CHARGE" QU'ON M'A FAIT REGLER DEUX FOIS, SOUS PRETEXTE QUE JE N'AVAIS PAS COMMANDE MON CAFE EN MM TEMPS QUE MON REPAS (20 MN D'ECART DANS LES 2 COMMANDES) J'AI TROUVE CELA INADMISSIBLE, LE RESPONSABLE N'A PAS DAIGNE […] SE DEPLACER A MON DEPART LORS DE MON REGLEMENT. Depuis notre chambre au 18ème étage nuisances sonores provoquées par le fonctionnement de l'ascenseur de même que par le système de chauffage. Possibilité offerte par le personnel de la réception, très attentif et dévoué, de changer de chambre. Celle proposée au 4ème étage se situait devant un ''mur d'arbres''...donc nous sommes restés au 18ème étage […] pendant la courte durée de notre séjour (2 nuitées) et nous sommes habitués aux subtils bruits. A noter, établissement dont tout le personnel est très attentif au confort du client. Bonne table en restauration et bonne adéquation qualité, variété et prix. We hebben met 3 kinderen in dit hotel overnacht na een lange reisdag uit Spanje.We hadden 2 mooie kamers verbonden met een tussendeur.Kamer was erg netjes en heerlijke bedden en een heerlijk ontbijt.Hotel is van buiten wat verouderd ligt in een zakelijke wijk.Prima hotel

From the welcome-cookie and milk to the great breakfast and the fast checkout and airport shuttle service, we have nothing but good to say about this hotel. The location is a bit outside the city center, but we used the public bus - 1,5€ and that fare will get anywhere in the country!
