La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

"Il centro di Manhattan"
Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

"Grand Hyatt NYC"
Ottimo hotel, situato in una posizione che permette di girare NY senza problemi. Camere pulite forse con un bagno un pò piccolo, comunque da consigliare.

posizione ideale, camere grandi (per lo standard di NY), nuove e pulite. perfetto per chi viaggia per lavoro o turismo. staff gentilissimo
"Posizione centrale ma non ci tornerei"
Scarsa disponibilità alla reception, scarsa pulizia delle camere e camere ed arredamento ormai obsoleti per un hotel che porta questo nome. Attenzione ai pacchetti che includono la colazione, se viaggiate in due e prenotate una doppia la colazione è solo per una persona!
"Buon Hotel situato in ottima posizione centrale"
La struttura è senza dubbio di buion impatto visivo, situato sulla 42a strada ai piedi del grattacielo "Chrysler"e vicinissimo alla Central Station. Molto comodo per i mezzi pubblici sia Mmetro che Bus e a piedi per Times Square. Le camere sono sufficentemente confortevoli e pulite. "esperienza nella ristrutturazione"
Il personale, la posizione e la pulizia sono al top di gamma. La nostra stanza era stata ristrutturata di recente. Poiché ho una grande esperienza nel ramo edile, darei i seguenti suggerimenti: sulla vasca c'è dell'adesivo per le piastrelle del pavimento. C'è dell'intonaco sugli stipiti e sugli zoccolini. Nella doccia, per il soffione, era segnato a […] croce, a matita indelebile, un buco non fatto, segnando il posto sbagliato. La durata dello sciacquone non è sufficiente a rimuovere tutta la carta igienica, a meno di non tenere abbassata la leva per un tempo più lungo. Primo soggiorno allo Hyatt. Molto belle le stanze ristrutturate. Davano un senso di accoglienza e confortevolezza. L'atrio è ancora in ristrutturazione ma se fanno nell'atrio come hanno fatto nelle camere, il risultato sarà molto bello. La hall è un posto perfetto per incontri di lavoro riservati.

L'albergo è situato vicino a molti luoghi di interesse di New York City, soprattutto la Grand Central Station. Raccomanderei questo hotel se per voi vale la pena pagare un pò di più per la posizione.
"Semplicemente Ok."
Devo dire di non essere stato impressionato troppo dall'albergo in generale. Ci abbiamo impiegato 15 minuti a depositare il bagaglio (la stanza non era ancora pronta), la doccia è stata fredda per due giorni di seguito e la hall era nel caos per via della ristrutturazione.

Sono venuto a New York per una notte e ho fatto un buon affare a scendere al Grand Hyatt. Sono rimasto sorpreso da quanto fosse piacevole e quanto grandi fossero le camere! E' stato un soggiorno molto confortevole e alla reception il personale era molto cortese.

Tutto sommato, il soggiorno è stato piacevole e il personale alla reception sempre gentile, comprensivo e di aiuto. Nonostante l'eccellente servizio alla clientela, è stato un problema trovare una chiave che funzionasse per la mia camera. Dal primo al settimo tentativo, ogni volta ho dovuto andare personalmente su e giù dal piano alla hall per sistemare […] la cosa e tornare indietro e aspettare la sicurezza, che non era sempre presente. Sinceramente, tutta la faccenda si sarebbe potuta risolvere la prima volta invece che chiedere al cliente di fare su e giù domandando aiuto e prontezza. Alla fine, dopo essere andato e venuto, la questione non era ancora stata risolta. Ho dovuto andare e venire dalla hall alla stanza ancora due volte. E' stato uno stress inutile che si sarebbe potuto evitare se qualcuno che non fossi io stesso avesse preso l'iniziativa e si fosse assunto la responsabilità di accertarsi che gli ospiti dell'albergo potessero accedere alle loro camere! "Rumore e ancora rumore."
Quando siamo arrivati con il primo volo, alla reception ci hanno detto che avremmo dovuto aspettare due ore per il check-in per il servizio completo per il quale avevamo prenotato. Poiché erano le 6.30 ci è parso ragionevole. Tuttavia ce l'hanno ripetuto ogni 30 minuti. Solo alle 11 del mattino abbiamo potuto prendere possesso della camera. Dopo un […] volo notturno ci è sembrato un po' troppo, soprattutto perchè quando abbiamo avuto accesso al lounge del 31esimo piano abbiamo notato che molte delle camere erano già libere... Mi hanno offerto una stanza a un piano inferiore ma nessuno sconto. In generale l'inizio del nostro soggiorno non è stato molto felice. Poi è peggiorato. A causa della ristrutturazione dell'albergo il rumore era più forte all'interno che sulla strada. Pareva che stessero provando la piastrellatura nella stanza sopra la nostra e lavorando sulle tubature, cosa che ci rendeva impossibile dormire. L'altro fattore che aumentava il livello di rumore era la porta d'accesso alla camera; non c'era stipite e un vuoto in basso di 4 cm. La stessa porta non era isolata, e quindi il rumore passava facilmente. Di fatto si sentiva qualsiasi conversazione degli altri ospiti quando passavano in corridoio, per non parlare degli addetti alle pulizie e le loro quotidiane conversazioni. Infine il giorno prima di partire abbiamo ricevuto sotto la porta una lettera che avvisava che l'acqua sarebbe stata tolta alle 10 del mattino del giorno dopo, e per 5 ore. Dato che avevamo il volo alle 15.30 non sembrava riguardarci. Errore: alle 7 hanno iniziato a battere e picchiare di sopra, il che ha reso impossibile il riposo. In sostanza, non è stato un soggiorno molto piacevole. Credo davvero che dovrebbero terminare la ristrutturazione prima di alloggiare i clienti, e sistemare le porte; è una situazione assurda. I want to sincerely apologize for the aggravation that the noisy construction caused you. As we are undergoing renovations, we are trying to do everything in our power to mitigate the noise but sometimes that even isn’t enough. We really appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback because it helps us to fix our problems moving forward. Also, thank you for bringing to our attention the loud sounds coming from the hallways due to the poor sound stripping. I will raise this issue with staff because I do not want this continuing to be a problem. Thank you again for your feedback, we truly appreciate it. Alla data del 1 aprile 2011 la hall era ancora in ristrutturazione. Non vi trascorro molto tempo, perciò non è stato un gran disagio, ma so che i lavori continuano da molto tempo. La mia camera era per un letto king size al 'Club level'. Sono rimasto sorpreso di vedere le misere condizioni della sedia in camera - la cucitura si era allentata sul bracciolo […] e l'imbottitura ne fuoriusciva. Il resto della stanza andava bene, pulita e in ordine. Come altri hanno detto, i bagni erano un po' piccoli ma non c'erano problemi per una persona alla volta. I letti dello Hyatt sono piuttosto comodi. Nella stanza adiacente stavano facendo dei lavori di riparazione, perciò al mattino c'era molto rumore. Aspettavano le 8 per iniziare. Il responsabile del club lounge è stato eccezionale: ci ha dato tutte le informazioni e l'aiuto richiesti. Il check-in cortese ed efficiente. Gli ascensori rapidi fino ai piani alti. Grande comodità anche per il collegamento diretto con la Grand Central Station: c'è la metropolitana e tutti i servizi di ristorazione del seminterrato della Grand Central. "Grand Hyatt - in ristrutturazione ma ottima posizione"
Il servizio era eccellente! La camera era molto pulita e, dato che era appena stata rinnovata, tutto era nuovo. Ci hanno perfino offerto gratuitamente un lettino di emergenza. La hall era in ristrutturazione, perciò l'ingresso è stato un po' complicato, ma la hall in effetti era molto bella. La posizione dell'hotel è molto comoda, a soli due isolati […] dalla Fifth Avenue! Abbiamo avuto uno sconto per la camera ristrutturata perchè al piano di sopra i lavori erano ancora in corso, ma poichè era il fine settimana e noi uscivamo solitamente verso le 10, non abbiamo sentito nessun rumore dovuto ai lavori. La nostra stanza era pulita e in effetti più ampia di quanto ci aspettassimo. C'era anche una grande poltrona che abbiamo scoperto essere una poltrona-letto. L'albergo era molto pulito. L'unica osservazione è stata per una vecchia macchia di umidità sul soffitto. Gli accessori da toilette includevano il balsamo per capelli e il dentifricio, che non […] tutti gli hotel forniscono. La biancheria da letto piacevole e ipoallergenica. Il personale delle pulizie ha bussato non prima delle 11, cosa che ho apprezzato perchè amo dormire a lungo. "Perfect location with great service"
Wow, what a location. Even noticed it featured in the new Marvel Assemble movie. The room was clean and well appointed. It wasnt big but it had everything we needed for a short break. It was a few seconds from all the main shopping areas and almost all the main attractions in Manhatton.Sevice on check in was fantastic. "Wonderful hotel"
I booked a night at the Grand Central Hyatt for a trip to New York to see a show on Broadway. The hotel is in an ideal location. We could easily walk to almost all the different subway lines. After the show and dinner, we could even walk back. It was a great deal!

Nicely appointed hotel and room with state of the art lighting. Room and bathroom small. Toilet paper location in bathroom is poor. Night light in Bathroom blinked all day and night. AC always on causing ones mouth to be very dry during sleep and upon awakening. Dresser is weird as it has doors hiding drawers. Best is the location and its Lobby. Great […] staff. "Not all Hyatts are Equal"
Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but one of the worst in terms of value for money. The public areas are typical big chain four star quality; spacious with lots of marble and glass, but the bedrooms are typical big city two star cram them in size, and not not overly opulent. Not only was there no bath, there wasn't even a proper shower stall, […] so water from the shower spread half way across the bathroom, and bathroom sinks without plugs is something you don't even expect any more in Eastern Europe, let alone New York! The location is great, but in future I'd choose somewhere a bit less central but close to a subway station where you'd get more bang for your buck and still have a convenient way of getting around town Continua a leggere

The family was very satisfied with this hotel during our NYC stay. It was very close to central part but with some distance to keep the noise down when sleeping. The beds could be a little bit wider since we stayed 4 (2+2, family) persons in the room. I guess the doubble queen size beds where approx 130 cm wide but the information did state 140 cm. Super easy check-in. Incredible sculptures in the lobby. Room was large by New York standards and very clean. Right next to Grand Central -- very easy to hop a subway and get anywhere you need to go. The first night there was complimentary cheese, crackers, nuts and pear in the room -- I don't know if this is the norm or if I got lucky. Also the fridge […] was stocked with complimentary beverages -- I wasn't charged for the water and the soda I drank. The king size bed was very comfortable. A touch light switch by the bed shuts off all lighting in the room with just a touch of your hand and the same switch can raise or lower the room temperature without having to get out of bed. Very satisfied. Didn't have to pack a toothpaste they supplied that as well. Overall, very much, better than expected. Continua a leggere
"Great location but mediocre hotel"
For the price that we paid for the hotel, I thought that the room and service were just very mediocre. The location is great, it is right across the street from Grand Central and is connected via passageway so it was a great deal of help to access the subway during the rain. The room was very small and when we checked in we were deceived. Initially, […] I booked a grand King room and when we checked in the receptionist confirmed with us that it was a King bed, but when we got to the room we did question the size of the bed. My husband and I kept saying that it was a really small King. It turned out to the a Queen bed but we didn't find out until check out. What a disappointment. The cleanliness of the room was questionable. The carpet was not vacuumed. The staff did let us borrow an umbrella for the rain outside, which was pretty nice. "worst experience ever"
We checked in on Saturday for our anniversary trip and when we got in the room , the bathroom was disgusting ... there was hair on the floor and dead flies in the tub. When my wife called the front desk they first said that room was cleaned and there shouldn't be any hair or dead flies. My wife asked them to come check it out for them selves .. they […] said that they will move us to a different room. The person just knocked on the door and handed me the keys without sayibg a word and did not help us with our laggauge. When i asked what room we are going to. "Great Location"
I loved that it was next to Grand Central Station. Very convenient to using Subway system to get around NYC. We also were very pleased at the great price for a 4 star Hotel in NYC. This Hotel decor is very Modern and that was a pleasant change from other hotels I have stayed at in NYC.
"Recent Stay"
The guys outside were extremely nice. Helped with the bags. When I told them it was my birthday they baggage handler said he was having champagne sent up twice and it never showed. There were no washclothes in our room. One of the towels seemed used. At 11:00 we were on at the bar and would have like a light snack and the only thing available was deli […] food. "A great stay in the middle of the "Big Apple""
The Hyatt might be a bit more then pricey then other places around town, but we sure thought it was worth the extra. I was told that the building with Trumps first building in Manhattan and when you take a close look you can still see signs of "Trump-ness" about the place. Can't wait to return.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at period. The entire staff was so helpful from the check in to the last day we stayed. I loved the personal touch that the staff had w/ my twins & I. I told them that I'll be back and would be hard pressed to stay anywhere else. The cleanliness of the room to the location to Grand Central it couldn't have been any better!! Very impressed with Grand Hyatt. Great room overlooking the Chrysler Building so we were lucky there. All staff very helpful. Great service.Room and bath room very clean and well equipped. Excellent location between Grand Central Terminus and Chrysler Building and close to other sights.

Overall, the hotel is very nice and in a great location. The only thing I didn't like was that there is no door on the bathroom. Not sure if it was intentional or not.

"Very nice room, but..."
Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. Negatives: not NEARLY enough staff at check-in counter. They compensate with express check-in kiosks, but on this night, few were able to actually check-in with them. So a very long, SLOW, line quickly developed. This was problematic for us because we had theater tickets and less than an hour before curtain. Once […] we finally made it to the front of the line, the beleaguered, exhausted clerk was very courteous. I noticed line at check-in persisted throughout our entire stay. Also, our room was hot, despite the individual thermostat in the room. Positives: modern decor, surprisingly quiet for being at Grand Central Station, QUICK service. Had issues with the room safe and they fixed it within 5 minutes. Overall, the hotel has some minor issues, but the staff is world class. Continua a leggere
"Good location"
The shower curtain is smelly after gets wet; it should be changed much often. The large rain shower head might be good for some people but with very low water presure.
