Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 25 feb 2013La posizione è stupenda in quanto si trova direttamente di fronte a Central Park. La nostra camera era veramente spaziosa. Per la colazione è meglio premurarsi che sia già pagata o meno altrimenti viene addebitata sulla camera e poi bisogna spiegare che era già pagata. Attenzione al frigo bar, ogni tanto caricano sul conto consumazioni non fatte. Nel nostro caso, dopo una breve spiegazione, hanno provveduto immediatamente a cancellarla dal conto finale e senza fare troppe storie. Il personale è stato gentile a parte qualche cameriere un po scorbutico durante la colazione ma con il quale abbiamo subito chiarito, parlando noi un buon inglese.

"Bello per la vista"
La parte migliore dell'Hotel è l'ingresso, l'area fitness e la vista che si può avere dai piani alti. Anche il servizio colazione tipo self è decoroso e a prezzi buoni. la vista dal 28 piano è magnifica ! con vista sul palazzo dell'ONU che si affaccia sull' East River, a dx si vedono l'Empire State Building ed il Chrisler...La posizione è centrale si raggiungono facilmente a piedi la Grand Central Station, la 5th avenue e Times Square. La colazione al sottostante Ristorante è ricca e adeguata al prezzo. L'unico neo, […] la manutenzione dei bagni ed è un peccato data la posizione favolosa dell' Hotel. Hotel in ottima posizione con vista stupenda panoramica al 27° piano della zona Manhattan. Si vede sia l'Empire state building,Crysler building e il nuovo grattacielo attualmente in costruzione della ground zero. Ottimo servizio ma con una perplessità di una mancanza in camera del frigo e della macchineta del caffè descritta nella vostra pubblicazione. Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per una visita di NYC di 4 giorni. L'hotel ha una vista eccezionale, dal 20esimo piano si può godere di uno spettacolo incredibile su ogni lato del'Hotel. Hotel elegante e accogliente. Camera molto bella al 37° piano con vista su Empire State Building, bellissima al buio. Un pò distante (circa 750 m) dalla metro più vicina, ma camminando un pò e godendo delle strade adiacenti si arriva in breve tempo a Central Station. Per noi che, per la prima volta ci siamo cimentati a vivere per ben una settimana nella grande mela, il Millennium UN Hotel , con i suoi comfort, il personale cortese, la pulizia e la posizione invidiabile per vista e location nella mid town, ogni sera ci sembrava di tornare a casa.... Certo , il ristorante non è proprio..... friendly nel prezzo (noi […] nn lo abbiamo provato) ma, a NY esistono migliaia di alternative che possono soddisfare tutti i gusti e quasi tutte le tasche. Arredi anni 80 ma funzionali, bagno sempre pulitissimo e fornito di asciugamani x tutti; la struttura in vetro è veramete accattivante. Lo consigliamo. "Hotel Millenium vicino Palazzo Onu"
L'hotel si trova sulla seconda avenue di fronte al palazzo dell'Onu in Manhattan a circa 7/8 min. a piedi dalla Central Station. Il taxi il modo migliore per arrivare sia da Jfk che dal terminal autobus/metro. La posizione agli ultimi piani del grattacielo lo rende suggestivo con vista dalla camera sull'Empire, Onu e Chrysler anche se la hall è stile […] anni 80 Dotato di ottima palestra con vista Onu, di campo da tennis regolare interno e di piscina utile alla sera dopo tour Ny. La camera con moquette ha qualche macchia sul pavimento e il divano presente ha qualche segno ma nel contesto il giudizio è buono Il rapporto qualità prezzo è notevole. The hotel was nice and clean, the room a little worn in some places, hair dryer power point not working, but when we asked the staff about it they gave us a replacement hair dryer. Would be nice if they had a mirror or two outside of the bathroom though! Staff are friendly and like to help you out, there was a nice view from the room and it was a nice […] experience overall. I stayed here with a friend of mine and we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. No issues with bed bugs. Location was convenient to LaGuardia airport. The only downside is that the bathroom could use some remodeling - wallpaper was a little worn and it could use some new tiles. Otherwise overall good stay. "Great Location"
This hotel was very nice. I had a corner room that was large with great views. The amenities were great. The restaurant was overpriced but luckily there are a ton of great restaurants in walking distance. It was definitely worth the price!Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Great View Of The East River In NYC"

"One Un Hotel"
We were delighted with the area and the ease of reaching other parts of the city. We bought an unlimited metro card the first day since it gave us the flexibility to use it for even short distances if we so desired. We also picked up a subway and bus map which is necessary. We were two blocks from 42nd street and so used the cross town bus frequently. […] The staff at the hotel were friendly and most helpful and the rooms were clean and well cared for. The view was spectacular! We would definitely choose to stay there again. I do wish that they had free internet service, which many hotels do have. "Convenient Midtown location"
We ended up in one of the smaller rooms but it was still larger than many NY hotel rooms. We were on the 37th floor (all of the rooms are up high) - as a result the room was VERY quiet which we liked. Nice view north to the east river. "Fantastic place to stay when you can"
When nothing is happening at the UN, this is our favorite place to stay in New York. It's just a couple of blocks from Grand Central Station. There's a full size pool overlooking the East River, the UN Headquarters, and down into town. Where else can you see the Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, the UN, etc. from your room? We've stayed here […] multiple times and usually have a great room. One time we got a room in the 'overflow' tower that was a bit dated, but the rooms in the main tower are updated and clean. "Excellent views"
I was extremely happy with the size of the room and views of the city with windows all along the room. There was very little noise since I was up on the 36th floor and within walking distant to Grand Central, Times Square, etc. In reading the reviews before I went, I was prepared for the room to look worn and it did but it was clean. I would recommend […] an upgrade to superior corner rooms for the views! The air conditioner was noisy but they came up to fix. All staff was extremely friendly especially Frank! "Close to the United Nations"
Located just across the street from the United Nations this hotel has a great location. The hotel has a policy of not allowing guests to store bags overnight which was inconvenient as I had business in Washington DC for a few days but wanted to return to ONE UN and not take all my luggage. "Great location - great view"
I had to find a place quickly - within an hour. I could not afford too much and this hotel had a rate under $200 and 4 start rating! So, I picked it. "There's so Much Potential"
I came back but did not get the same room and quality of service as the first. Very disappointing. It is important to note that there is a Vintage side of the hotel and the West side. The vintage side is old and worn and set for an upgrade. The West Tower side is where you need to stay. The bathrooms and showers are spacious and clean. "Appropriate for price."

"Great Staff, but this is an older hotel"
This hotel is in a good location on E 44th between 1st and 2nd, very close to Grand Central. It also had some of the nicest staff that I have come across. Everyone was very nice and helpful and the room was clean. I was on the 37th floor with a great view of the East River. Only negative is that the hotel is obviously older and in need of some renovation: […] stained wallpaper in the bathroom, cracked tiles, mirrors and decor need to be replaced/updated.
