La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

Dopo una giornata di escursioni, ritorna allo Sheraton e rilassati sorseggiando un buon drink al Bar della Biblioteca oppure gusta le specialità del ristorante Hudson Market Burger. Fai un pieno di energie con la colazione a buffet servita all'Hudson Market, osservando il via vai dei passanti sulla Seventh Avenue. Il servizio in camera è disponibile 24 ore su 24, per il massimo del comfort.
Tenersi in forma non è mai stato così facile al centro benessere dello Sheraton (ingresso a pagamento). la posizione è fantastica. davvero a 2 passi da times square e a due passi da central park servizio ottimo. ho chiesto il cambio camera perchè la moquette era stata lavata male. mi hanno accontentato immediatamente offrendomi anche un piccolo credito come risarcimento per il disagio. unico neo il bagno davvero molto piccolo e vecchiotto
"Ottima posizione"
Soggiorno gradevolissimo, posizione ottima e facile accesso a ogni luogo di interesse. Il personale molto collaborativo e tutti gentilissimi. Lo raccomanderei davvero…offrono anche sconti, quindi date un'occhiata.
Gli addetti alle pulizie non hanno pulito con cura la camera. Non hanno nemmeno portato via i calzini degli ospiti precedenti. Terribile! Il portiere non vedeva l'ora di ricevere delle mance.

Albergo in posizione splendida, nelle vicinanze di quasi tutto, incluso il metrò. Efficiente personale al check-in che ci ha dato stanze adiacenti, cosa per noi utile e comoda.

Mia mamma ed io abbiamo visitato New York per il Memorial Day e abbiamo scelto questo albergo dove il personale è amichevole e gentile, ma accortisi che non avevamo i passaporti sono diventati molto sgarbati, trattandoci come clandestini. Infine il direttore è venuto a parlare con noi ed ha sistemato le cose. La mattina successiva, usandolo, ho trovato […] sull'asciugamano una grande macchia nera che pareva cenere di sigaretta, fatto spiacevole dopo una buona dormita. "Bagno sporco"
Per questo soggiorno ho preso due stanze. Una per i miei genitori e una per me. Al nostro arrivo, quella dei miei genitori non era ancora pronta, quindi hanno dato loro un'altra camera, e questa aveva un odore tremendo. Alla fine, una terza camera è andata bene. In seguito ho trovato nella mia stanza peli, nella doccia e nel lavandino, il water sporco […] e una carta di chewing gum sul letto, sotto il copriletto. In tutto questo la reception è stata maleducata e indifferente. Non raccomando questo albergo a chi tiene all'igiene, e posso dire che sia stato il peggior albergo dove abbia mai soggiornato. "piacevole sorpresa"
Io e mia moglie ci siamo fermati per 6 notti in una delle camere "appena ristrutturate". La stanza era pulita, il letto king size comodo, la vista su Times Square meravigliosa e tutto funzionava come doveva. La camera era piccola, ma cosa aspettarsi a New York City per un piccol budget? "Hotel Sheraton New York & Towers - Problemi con il personale ai piani"
Se siete alla ricerca di una posizione centrale e dei luoghi da vedere assolutamente, questo è il posto giusto. Preparatevi però a un personale di servizio scortese. Dalle 8 del mattino le cameriere si riunivano nei corridoi e gridavano l'una con l'altra o parlavano a voce estremamente alta. OGNI SINGOLO GIORNO della nostra permanenza. Quando uscivamo, […] semplicemente sorridevano gentili e dicevano "Buona giornata". Eravamo già in piedi e pronti dalle 8 di mattina, e comunque avevamo moltissimo da vedere, ma è in ogni caso un comportamento sgarbato e sconsiderato da parte del personale, e pareva molto intenzionale. Un albergo molto vivace per la vicinanza a Times Square. L'albergo è in corso di ristrutturazione completa (Maggio 2011), per cui la facciata è coperta da impalcature e la Club Room ai piani alti è chiusa. Il personale ci è stato di grande aiuto.

Personale sgarbato e non collaborativo. Lavori nella stanza accanto alla mia fino a mezzanotte. Detriti e macerie dalla camera adiacente fino alla mia. In camera, molte cose non funzionanti (cornetta del telefono mancante, cassaforte inutilizzabile). Nessuna risposta del personale. "Buona posizione, servizio mediocre"
Lo Sheraton è in una splendida posizione e vanta una hall ampia con una reception indaffarata. Comunque il servizio di accoglienza è molto lento, il personale, in particolaare al check-in poco gentile. Le stanze piccole (ma pulite). Non c'è il parcheggio custodito. Esorbitante il prezzo del deposito bagagli. In parte il personale è cortese ma non abbastanza. […] Con hotels.com siamo stati in altri alberghi in centro, dello stesso prezzo e valutazione (3.8), ed erano MOLTO meglio. A questo assegnerei 3. Se avessi un'altra scelta, non tornerei qui. The Sheraton New York was a pleasant surprise. The location was central to everything I had planned. The room was clean and a decent size, for New York standards. The staff was pleasant. "Gives Sheraton a bad name -"
Never posted a bad review before but would be remiss not to warn others. On arrival there were 36 people in line to check in and only 2 working the desk. Stood in line for 45 minutes to check in. Had reserved two rooms with two doubles. At first look could tell the beds were not doubles. No way that 2 could share the 45” wide bed. Called to rectify […] the situation and got the run around. Hotel insisted these were double beds. Finally after much hassle we were offered a room with one king bed and a chaise. Not paying NYC prices so that someone can sleep in a reclining chair. We had booked non-refundable rooms so we were stuck. Spent a very uncomfortable night. Final insult came when we went to pick up our car from the valet. Again, the line was unbelievably long and moving at a snail’s pace. It took 1 ½ hours from time we got in line until they brought our car. Told by the desk that they don’t own the garage even though the Sheraton doorman directs you to the garage which is part of the hotel building and has a sign that says Sheraton, they refuse to own it. I’ve stayed at Sheraton’s all across the country with no problems. This place gives the brand a bad name. Any place that had competent management would have more staff to accommodate their guests. I am pretty easy to please and have come to expect some hitches while traveling but this experience was the worst. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. "Walking distance to many sights"
The hotel was walking distance to Times Square and Central Park and many attractions in between. The hotel was very clean and nice and the price was reasonable. We had one problem with the room and they immediately addressed it. We left behind a video game and the shipped it back to us within a few days. We would definitely stay there again.
"Ok, but still pricey for what you get"
Checked in early so you're forced to pay $3.25 per bag to hold your bag until the room is ready. $66 for the night to park my "over sized" vehicle. Room was small but clean and cozy. Construction issues from earlier reviews thankfully were over. Door was paper thin so you heard everything going on in the hall.

Room was a little small. But this is New York City. Hotel was great, service was great. I would stay there again. I would also recomend the club foor suits on the 44-50 floors.
It was a nice hotel. I was only disappointed at all the scaffolding outside. They must be currently renovating the front. I know it has to be done sometime but it was a turnoff. The inside was great and everything I needed. Very clean. My personal trainer husband tried the gym and thought it was great for a hotel.

I was at Sheraton New York for 2 days and overall I think it was a great experience. The room was nicely lit and very modern appearance. If I get the chance I would definitely return to stay at Sheraton again.
"GREAT HOTEL- HORRIBLE parking lot"
The hotel was a pleasantly great hotel choice. We get into NYC on a regular basis but generally avoid the Time Square area. We had a special event in the area and were happy to find that this hotel had great rooms, services and helpful employees. THE PARKING on the other hand was HORRIBLE. Plan 30 mins to an hour in advance if you want your car. The […] attendants are good, but there are only 2. You would think that at check out time there would be extra staff on hand for the dozens of people leaving, but nope. We waited around 45 minutes for our car when we checked out. Getting the car parked on arrival also took 20 minutes because there was a car parked in front of the entrance. If you stay here come by taxi, shuttle, train, fly etc. but don't drive and park there. "Sheraton new York Hotel and Towers"
The hotel was a a pleasant surprise not knowing exactly how far (walking distance) everything was. We were able to get around to Time Square, Central Park, 5th Ave shopping and a variety of restaurants and bars. We didn't have time to really hang out at the hotel, so I assume that everything is fine. The only thing I didn't care for was the thin walls […] or the loud guest in the neighboring room. "Sheraton NYC 7th Avenue"
The location of this hotel is great. Other than that, we were somewhat disappointed with our stay. We had to call every day to have an adequate number of linens supplied to our room, and the response was not prompt. The front desk staff were somewhat discourteous as well.

We were unimpressed with the hotel. In the 4 days of our stay, housekeeping did not finish making one of the beds, or wet towels were left on the bathroom floor, or the towles were not replaced.

"Perfection Plus"
The Sheraton NY Hotel &Towers was the perfect starting point for our visit. They accommodated our request of same-floor rooms(2), and entire staff polite. Lounge was great for meet/greet,cocktails before and after events. Conveniently located to everything! My second visit,will def be my future choice!

I stayed for 5 nights from Friday to Tuesday. Our bedroom was just off the elevator area and I could hear people getting out of the lifts during the night. On the Monday morning at 6.40 I was wakened by the sound of a machine directly outside my room. When I investigated it was a workman laying black plastic sheeting on the carpet to protect it. Workmen […] had arrived to renovate the corridor and a large plastic sheet was hung at the beginning of the corridor to screen the work. I couldn't go back to sleep with noise of work and voices. This continued for next 2 mornings even though I was assured by a work supervisor that it wouldn't. I was offered another room by the receptionist but didn't want the inconvenience of moving when we had settled in. This was the 18th floor and I had been assured on check-in that all the rooms were decorated. They didn't mention this work which was obviously pre-planned. "Sheraton Times Square. Solid place."
Not sure why this place gets such a bad wrap from people. Great location. Fair amount of room by NYC standards. The staff was always ready to help. Planning on staying here next time I'm in New York City.

I had stayed at this hotel years ago and it was still in beautiful condition. I did notice that they had renovated particularly the hotel rooms because they were smaller than I remember but still very nice. I would most definitely be back!

This is my third stay at Sheraton New York after trying several other hotels in Times Square and the only place I will stay in the future. Location, price, cleanliness, large rooms is why.
